It is a quaint and characteristic place; this lends to it but also takes away. The food can't be faulted; Nepalese cuisine combines of the best of Indian and Tibetan influences and will always be incredible. However, the place is just too cramped and the food is a little too expensive. The menu is only small, but I can promise that no matter what you do choose to order, you will enjoy it. Vegetarian options: Every item on the menu has vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Halal meat.

What a gem! Stumbled across this trying to find somewhere halal nearby. They don't have pork on the menu, but they do have alcohol. We ordered the combo with noodles and fried momos it was delicious! Food arrived very fast. Can't wait to go back again

Wow. Just wow! Everyone needs to come and eat here at least once. You’ll come back for more. I was introduced to this gem of a place by a friend a few years ago and this is by far the best dumplings I’ve had. Whenever we are in London we visit when we can - only wish they were open late night. Cheese and veg dumplings steamed or fried accompanied with their curry sauce poured all over is consistently amazing and so delicious! They also have a chilli sauce gravy which is just as good and has a good amount of heat and the flavours are wonderful in all sauces. It is best to eat them fresh as soon as possible when soft. My only experience of Nepalese cuisine and it’s been an excellent one. 10/10.

House of Momos serves some of the best Nepalese food in London. This gem if a cafe is hidden just off the High streets of Dalston. The menu maybe small but what it focuses on providing is its popular momos and Thali with few noodle dishes in the form of chow mien. Highly recommend trying the steamed chicken momos soft and juicy, beef and vegetarian options are available. The fried momos are also delicious if you can't make up your mind go for the mixed option. The Goat Thali was really delicious with a subtle hint of spice. Overall I had a really good experience quick and delicious.

The 5 star reviews are excessive. The dumplings at not bad, but nothing to get overly excited about . The price is one of the better aspects of this small establishment at only £10 for 10 dumplings. The sauce is too think and bland.

The Chilli Noodles are amazing and splendid!! The first sip caused my dopamine to be activated quickly! Chicken and chili with refreshing gluten-free noodles go hand in hand! I was really curious about the chef's chili sauce recipe, personally it was the best chili sauce I had in London. I have to say I can't stop to rave about this because this bowl of noodles reminds me of my distant hometown, and it tastes so similar to making at my home I tried to replicate this taste in London, but I failed, I couldn't make this taste like MoMo's noodles! It activated those warm memories in my mind, which was awesome! Of course, the momoes is also very yummy, and compared with the fast food dumplings of chain stores, it is immediately superior. Don't forget, when eating momoes, please bathe them completely in the sauce!

We felt so lucky to slip in as a couple on a Sunday night; straight after a huge queue formed. The food is really good, and excellent value. I'm gluten free so couldn't have the signature momos and went for a thali instead. Everything in it was delicious too much rice but that's better than too little!. The goat curry was great. Boyfriend loved the momos with fried rice. Definitely a gem and something different and fresh.

I would say it was amazing, the food was some of it to my taste, some of it not, but my friend couldn't get enough I am very picky and not good with haldi-tourmeric but i enjoyed rotithey have another name for it which i can not remember and the momo's a lot. I would go again and try the vegetable one next time. There is no wifi thought, but tap water available.

Loved the taste, came for the momo and had the tastebuds satisfied. Feels like what you get back in Nepal. The attention to detail with the ambience feels like one of the authentic momo places back home. Definitely on the encore list!!

Great place for dumplings! Good price good attention - very casual - quick and tasty. The mango lassi is vegan and delicious.
