The Belmont Bar

The Belmont Bar is the place to be on weekends. The music is great and the staff is even better!! The head doorman is a solid dude and is the most impressive doorman I've seen on Granville St. Honestly, that's the biggest selling point for me. Friendly and competent bouncers make a club safe and fun and this place has that! The bartenders are also a big bonus. Very hospitable and friendly. I miss that brown bouncer that use to work the front door though, he was so dreamy! #CellarForLife

The music was OK, no complaints about staff in general. It was a situation when me and my friends were about to leave for the night and the bouncer that was watching the coat check area told us we can't leave because a liquor inspector is inside and he/she finds something wrong they will shut the place down. That's not OK. You can't stop people from leaving, we are not in North Korea here. I walked past the bouncer and left disappointed.

Great vibe, one of the classiest places on Granville Street. Staff are polite and are all about making sure that you have a great night out! The manager Chris would be a real catch.

The bouncer T.J (Persian guy) committed assault on a customer tonight, used excessive force and then ran away to the back of the club to hide from police. Can't believe this establishment would hire a guy like this. Undeserving even of a one star . Would not suggest this establishment to anyone after what I've experienced tonight.

Made a guest list for 25 and the bouncers tryed to claim we only made it for 15 and need to pay cover for the rest of us. Took them 30 minutes to let us in after showing them the email proving we made the list for 25. Bartenders are scammers. Eric especially. Gave him a $20 for a $7 drink and he gave me $1.70 in change and tryed to claim I gave him $10 not $20. Obviously he pocketed the money and told me he can't go back in the till so sorry. Music was terrible. Might as well just throw on 94.5 on the radio. All in all had a terrible experience here and would highly recommend giving it a miss.
