"The Yaletown Distillery and Paulie’s Kitchen opened in the Spring of 2013 serving up straight forward Italian-American style dishes and boozy handcrafted cocktails. The menu was developed with an emphasis on sourcing local ingredients, taking the time to make products from scratch, and being inspired by the way that ‘Mama used to make it’"

Greeted with a warm welcome fr the door. And good welcome fr the bartender as i sat by the bar. Good happy hour menu, started with old fashioned, then a glass of red, as I was waiting for my friend for dinner. When my friend arrived we were seated by the patio. Out server was very accommodating and warm. We ordered calamari, it was good but not crispy, my friend ordered the alfredo fettuccinehouse pasta my friend said it was good, and I ordered chicken parmigiana, was so delicious, pasta was cooked well, and my chicken was so delicious, highly recommended. The restaurant have a nice ambiance, good music and very nice decor inside. Hope to be back soon! Happy hour fr 4-6pm on wed-Friday.
Stopped in for a quick drink while walking through Yale Town. Wasn’t really expecting too much but based on the decor from the street it seemed like a nice place to make a pit stop. Service was good. Our server stopped in on us enough to make sure our drinks were refreshed and that we wanted for nothing. The drinks were on point and the ambiance was pleasant. The music selection was a great touch. Next time I’m in Vancouver, I’ll be sure to try out the food.
This place is very lively with the option of sitting down outside with properly roofed patio that has pleasant temperature whether its cold or hot outside. the inside has great vibes too, the staff are super friendly, accommodating and respectful but it appears they are a bit understaffed as we had to wait so much before we got our drinks and when trying to get our waitress attention. Drinks are decent I like their blackberry manhattan tastes very smooth but usually my female friends don’t find their cocktail menus very exciting maybe there is room for improvement there. The food is absolutely delicious; choose spaghetti meatballs or pesto chicken penne and you won’t be disappointed!
Hangover cure + mimosa were delicious but our experience was severely dampened by the poor customer service. Our server was an older man who made rude and condescending comments every opportunity he could. He created a very strange and uncomfortable atmosphere that took away from an otherwise good meal.
We were looking for a fun place to have dinner before a show at the QE theater. We chose this place because it was close to the train and a 10 minute walk to the theater. We booked on OpenTable, we arrived about 15 mins early and they sat us right away. Venue is dark, with classic decor. Think old school classy bar with modern touches. Fortunately for me and my girlfriend we arrived early because we caught the last bit of happy hour. They have house wine for 6 bucks, and beer for 5. 4 please. They have a small happy hour menu. We chose pizza, fried cauliflower, and Meatballs. All full portion size and excellent. The menu us for sure Italian inspired. Pizza is thin crust. Lots of appetizer, pasta, pizza, and a few mains. The service was great, attentive but not hovering. Interesting point, the rest room is shared men and women. Separate stalls and a communal sink. It's quite nice actually but I wasnt used to it and you have to be ready or be surprised
Great spot in a really lively area! The menu had loads of options for cocktails, beer, and all sorts of food. Give the chickpea fries a try, they’re absolutely delicious! Only drawback is that it’s a little pricey but the atmosphere and drinks/food make up for it!
Loved the patio space and drinks. The vegetarian pesto pasta was outstanding—great ambiance and service. Even the dining space inside the restaurant has excellent vibes and couches. Highly recommend.
Yaletown Distillery and Kitchen in Vancouver is a pretty slick-looking gastrobar that serve decent gin and tonic. I loved their music too and thanks to them, they reminded me of this particular The Temper Trap song that I keep forgetting to add to my playlist! We didn’t get the chance to try their food but they looked good. Unfortunately, the service at the time wasn’t the best and a bit on the slow side, which was disappointing as we thought both members of staff that we interacted with were friendly. We may visit them again if we’re in the Yaletown, Vancouver area because the atmosphere here was quite good.
The brunch menu was AMAZING There are different options for different preferences and the atmosphere was so cozy. One plus point, their brunch food portion was huge Our server today, he was so nice, knowledgeable, and amazing. Highly recommended
Brunch, lunch, or dinner always a delicious spot to relax and enjoy great food and service. Highly recommend. Today we had Brunch. Hangover cure and the Hash!
