Homer St. Cafe and Bar

I always enjoy coming to this place. The ambience, service and the food always reliably very good. Started with pork belly which was crunchy and addictive. The croquet was fabulous. The rotisserie chicken was quite huge. We ordered half chicken I found out that this was enough for three people. Came with baby roast potatoes and coleslaw. A side of mushroom was a bonus. I can always recommend this eatery.

The food is just damn good! But I don't want to go on about the food because it does speak for itself. The place, the location, the service is what makes it all worthwhile. I have never once experienced a bad waiter or bartender. The patio is lovely and I always enjoy my time here. Oh try the lattes, its better than any chain people would otherwise go to.

Best rotisserie in downtown! The meat is tender and juicy. Other foods available taste great as well. Service is good. I just wished they have the crispy chicken skin appetizer back.

A friend and I went to dinner Friday night; a first for both of us. First let me say WOW. The service was amazing. The cafe was extremely busy however, not only did our server spend the time but we had other servers coming over chatting as they filled water glasses. I had the chicken which was a bit dry but was quickly picked up by the manager and rectified . My friend ordered halibut which was done perfectly. We shared a chickpea dip and for someone who isn't all that fond of chickpeas, found it simply delicious. Couldn't fit in the Maple Butter Pork Bellies but will try it next time though as they were flying out of the kitchen. This is a place you'll want to go back time and again.

Heard that they are famous for their rosemary chicken, decided to give a shot and try it out. Went to Homer St cafe for brunch. For appetizer, I recommend chips and hummus. It tastes really good. For the chicken part, the chicken wasn't overcooked, so it wasn't dry at all. You can pair the chicken with their housemade gravy and make it tastes even better! Definitely have to try it out! Remember to make reservation or else you might end up waiting for half to an hour wait...
