Doolin's Irish Pub

Was there as a group during happy hour. Drink and food was good. Not too noisy so conversations are not difficult. It looks like a really old building inside with huge beams and darker color, which is not bad.

This place is one of Vancouver's finest gems!! The staff is amazing and probably one of the most hospitable I've encountered in a pub/restaurant thus far. The manager, BARRY, is a super awesome and cute Irish man who exemplifies what it means to run a solid business. His accent is exciting! Total authentic Irish feel and love music. I've been going here for about 4.5 years now and have gotten a thorough enough experience of what it's about. The bartender Kat is a total hottie! Excellent service by T, Malcolm, and Matt. Grumpy Gideon is also a pleasure to be served by. Patty is pretty silly and funny! The only negative thing I ever experienced was a sexy looking brown bouncer at the front door. He made it difficult to focus on my food and it got worse as I drank. He was really too handsome.

We had very poor service. We ordered soup and salad and soup and a burger. The burger arrived. 30 minutes later the salad arrived. 20 minutes later the bar tender said the soup of the day was on its way. We paid our bill and left totally disappointed

One of the only places open on christmas eve. They were also serving turkey dinners which were awesome. Big plates of food to. Very well priced. Serves Guinness obviously. Staff were fun and helpful. Pretty big inside. Would totally recommend.

Really nothing spectacular about doolins. I like the aesthetic, but apart from that, there is nothing noteworthy. I had a burger and it was very over cooked. It was a thick burger that was cooked till grey throughout. Side salad was nothing to write home about either.
