Story

The Bow River Barley Mill was designed to bring the history of the Eau Claire area into the feel of the building. The area of Eau Claire became part of Calgary in 1886 when the Eau Claire and Bow River Lumber Co. was founded on its riverbanks. It was given its name by Isaac Kerr who brought with him memories of his hometown, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Warm.cozy pub, with daily local specials. Great Patio with dog friendly and kid friendly options before 7 pm

Steak beet salad fresh , very good. Excellent service. I will go back soon to try other items on their menu.  The location is close to Prince’s Island Park. Patio is pet friendly

Love the mill. Service is always fast and friendly and the patio is great. Beef dip is 10/10. Way better than joeys I had them both in a span of two days I missed stampede not happening this year. Beer selection is excellent I just somehow always miss your happy hour. The guiness crab soup is unreal!

Food was really good! Had a really good time and well accommodated for a large birthday party; they allowed us to bring in a cake and we had the upstairs floor all by ourselves. Server wasn’t too engaging and seemed a bit cold at times.

Great food. Manager was awesome getting us the right seat and addressed our concern about the dip we didn't enjoy. All other food was awesome we will be back

Fast, and efficient service!  The waitress was polite and took a genuine interest in our well being.  Will definitely return.
