The croissant meals are delicious and French toast too. The drinks are also fun, interesting flavours. It’s a cute and homey place to eat, however the time schedules and overall management is a little lacking. I wanted the Dutch pancake and they decided that they wouldn’t make them today because of the amount of people dining in. Moreover, their stress with the reservations and non reservation people was felt and heard. Overall though the food was great.
Cute little corner in the busy of Kensington Market. Try their back patio, it's less crowded, quiet and feels like home. Their menus are amazing! I ordered the salad and bacon, and that dressing was out of this world! They out their heart and soul into this place looking by the interior. Service was excellent! Very recommended!
I love this place. It’s super cozy, eclectic and intimate. What’s more: the food is great. The bandari bowl was hearty and delicious, and the french toast was probably the best I’ve ever had. Our server was wonderful as well. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice little brunch spot that serves something a little different. We didn’t get a chance to try the dutch baby, but we’re definitely coming back for it!
Hidden gem! Been there almost every week : Flavourful food and drinks! All the croissants and omelettes are delicious. Lentil soup was so good too. I want to take everything on their menu home lol. Honey&cardamon latte, grape syrup latte, mocha were amazing. Could be a good place to study on weekdays during late afternoon if you can study at cafes
Really cozy and friendly place. I really liked the atmosphere and the amazing service. We had salmon croissant and traditional tomato omelette with honey, cardamom latte. Ingredients are fresh and food is really tasty. Croissants come with a choice of a lentil soup or a salad. My soup was a bit cold but tasty nevertheless. Iranian traditional bread, sangak, is served with the food which is lovely.
I visited this quaint cafe on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. We were seated in the back patio which was quieter than the front, allowing us to enjoy a nice conversation over good food. We were served by Cade, who was probably the kindest server we've encountered in the city. She took the time to explain all of the special items in the menu and suggested unique items that this cafe was most loved for. We started off with the Persian Brewed black tea and Iced Honey and Cardamom Latte. The tea was a warm mix of soothing flavours. The iced latte was the perfect touch of honey and cardamom flavours. Based on Cade's recommendation, we tried the Persian Omelette, Lentil Soup and Dutch baby with peach and pecan topping. The omelette was served with sangak a thin grain bread which we enjoyed dipping in the eggs. The lentil soup was a mix of flavours I haven't experienced - it was simply seasoned yet the perfect amount of flavour. The highlight for me was the Dutch baby - thin and soft in the middle, crispy along the edges with a delicious peach and pecan topping. I highly recommend this cafe. We'll definitely be going back!
A lovely little brunch spot in Kensisngton Market. We came across this place while looking up brunch spots in the area and it was highly rated so we decided to give it a shot. Everything that we ordered including their drinks were amazing. They have a wide variety of drinks that are different. Would come back again.
My friend and I went for brunch and ordered the smoked salmon croissant and french toast. I did the berries and smoked salmon with cheese add on too. Initially, I wanted the dutch pancakes but they removed it from the menu so I was bummed out but the french toast blew my mind. It was so warm, buttery and soft. It was perfect with the berries and strawberry jam. The cheese that came with the smoked salmon was incredibly delicious. Better than regular cream cheese. The smoked salmon croissant was good but the french toast was the winner!! Definitely coming back again.
Delicious food, friendly staff at this lovely little cafe with a small quaint patio at the back. I really like their iced Americano although its a bit more acidic than what I prefer. I gotta try their dutch baby next time!!! Sold out quickly on the weekend.
The most amazing hole in the wall spot. Fresh food, great drinks, cozy vibe. We got the Persian omelette for the table ended up ordering another for the road. I had the fig and blue cheese croissant with a fantastic lentil soup! Tried bites of my friends foods and everything was delicious. A must try spot if you are in the area!
