Opened in September 2009, The Allison Inn & Spa achieved LEED Gold Certification in April 2010. Beautiful place, the staff is fabulous. Had a family Thanksgiving there, great dinner. The spa personnel are very accommodating. I had a broken foot and it felt wonderful after being gently touched. The only surprise was that there was no on-site beauty salon. I asked about this and it seems that their clientele is mostly local, thus using their own hairdressers. Bad for me, I had a clay head to toe masque. I needed professional help. The grounds are gorgeous, the room amenities are to die for. I want to move in permanently.

The room that I stayed in was stunningly beautiful, comfortable, and spa like. It had a deep soaking tub, and a lovely warming fireplace. The bartender made great lemon drop martinis the night before. Breakfast/brunch in the morning had large proportions and everything was delicious! I always look forward to staying at the Allison :)

Beautiful location and design. Service is pretty much impeccable which you’d expect for a resort like this. Very much “we don’t say no to any requests”. Only complaints are the WiFi is spotty and cell service also limited, no full length mirror in the rooms(just a smaller 3/4 length), and parking is very far away from the front desk with all the “good” spaces reserved for hybrid electric nonsense. A no children allowed policy would be nice too. Would stay again, 5 stars vs and average hotel, 4.5 stars when compared against luxury resorts.

A wonderful place for lunch or dinner with a fantastic view of the wine valley. Excellent and friendly service and the food was excellent as well

Gorgeous setting, lovely staff. Both the massages and brunch at Jory were wonderful.
