Holiday Inn Express Newberg - Wine Country

The Holiday Inn Express is located in the middle of town all along Highway 99 easy to see from the road and it has an easy access parking lot. I stayed in a basic double queen bed room the Furnishings are modern and simple. Beds are comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and there is a selection of snack and drink type items available for purchase night or day. The breakfast served in the morning is wonderful with a good selection of hot options. I would definitely choose to stay here again. It's pretty perfect for a family type Hotel.

In good condition with above average staff. The facilities including gym and hot tub we're above average as was the breakfast.

It's all updated really well. Nicely done. Would love a salad bar in the evening... But maybe not enough traffic for that?

Clean and comfortable. Had made a mistake by making reservations for the wrong month. Upon arriving they quickly swapped my reservations and all was well. The building itself is older so I was concerned that the room would be too. For the most part the room was updated. However, the air conditioner was old and needs to be replaced. Breakfast was standard, nothing special. They were doing some construction on the building and we didn't really care for the hammering sounds at 8am. At least it wasn't earlier. I would have given it higher marks had it not been as expensive as it was.

I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars because of 2 factors... First one is (I understand they are remodeling and making great improvements) allowing the crews working on the remodel to be operating boom lifts at 5:30am right outside the room windows. Second is they are having technical issues with the new tv's. Overall a great place to stay
