Thames River Dental Group is thrilled to be moving into the former practice of Dr. Elliot Kimmel and to introduce a new dentist to the area. Dr. Kimmel has semi-retired and handed over the reins to Dr. Marcus Capalbo. Dr. Capalbo is a third-generation dentist, whose family began practicing dentistry in Westerly, Rhode Island, in 1946 when his grandfather opened his practice. Dr. Marcus and his two brothers, Matthew and Michael, who are also dentist, have a great passion for providing exceptional dentistry, which has driven them to expand the original practice. It has always been the Capalbo's philosophy to have a family-oriented practice with a hometown feel, where our patients are treated with respect and honesty. We want to build long-lasting relationships with our patients by delivering comprehensive, compassionate care, while utilizing the latest advances and technologies available in dentistry. In our constant desire to change people's perceptions and outcomes in dentistry, we tirelessly educate our patients on prevention of dental diseases and always aim for early detection and treatment. Over the next several months, we will be transitioning the office into a digital, paperless office to be in compliance with all OSHA and HIPPA standards. It is our goal in dentistry to preserve and restore beautiful, health smiles that last a lifetime. This desire to achieve beauty and structural integrity is reflected in the renovation process we have begun on our magnificent historical building. Both former and new staff members are excited about these updates and improvements to our building and practice and can't wait to share this with Dr. Kimmel's patients and with all new patients to our practice.
