Story

Our story begins in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Living the cattle rancher’s life and feasting in the traditional rodizio style native to this region, one of the partners had visions of bringing this culture north to the United States. The unique concept offers diners a parade of meats and an extravagant seasonal salad area. After years of hoping and dreaming, this rodizio vision became a reality. The destination of choice was no other than the cattle man's land ... Texas. Settling in Texas, it was apt that this unique style brought from Brazil be combined with the hospitality that is indigenous to the lone star state. Combining the culture and feast of Brazil with the service and class of the states, Texas de Brazil emerged. Texas de Brazil is family owned and operated and continues to expand both domestically and internationally to bring the Brazilian Steakhouse dining experience to new and exciting geographical locations.

The experience I had at Texas de Brazil was spectacular the food was wonderful, the staff was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good time. Went here on my anniversary and it honestly made a day I didn't think could get much better into a day I'll never forget. The manager Mike was great our waitress marcolina was possibly the greatest waitress I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a first time eating at this establishment. Am giving it a 'low' rating primarily due to personnel & service.
Upon entry, I failed to be acknowledged & stood in the lobby around 15 minutes, so finally made myself known to the receptionist. The waiting time wasn't too overly long to get seated with an estimated time of around 15-20 minutes. 
I chose the salad bar which was actually guite delightful.

My largest complaint would have to be with the service of the staff. 
One account was during dining, where I returned to refill my salad plate & upon returning to the table, it had been cleared. Then what really added to the poor quality issues was the fact that the waitress ' never' appeared to notice or attempt to rectify the problem. 
Sure I received the typical ' Sorry' but know it's just words, as nothing ever gets addressed.
Isn't it also irate how you're asked by the manager or the receptionist ' how was everything'? You tell them about your bad experience but again, there's never any actions to resolve or address the matter.

Since Texas De Brazil came to Albany I've noticed a gradual decline in the quality of the food.  Sometimes the meat is over salted or like tonight you find yourself waiting long periods of time for your favorite cuts of meat. I don't normally write reviews but this is the third time I've come only to be told that the beef ribs weren't ready. For an entire hour my server kept reassuring me they were on the way. I finally decide to talk to the manager, Nicole to see what the real problem was. She said they got a late shipment and they wouldn't be ready for another hour. I asked her why didn't she inform her staff so that they could relay accurate information to their waiting customers. Well let's just say she didn't like that. But hey I didn't like being lied to all night and I certainly didn't like eating a low quality meal for a high quality price.

Amazing. From the wonderful service from all staff members to the quality of the food everything was amazing. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made our drinks perfect. Our server was amazing as well. We visited on father's day which was very busy and our drinks would barely reach halfway before he refilled it. This place has a beautiful setting. This place is great for dates, special occasions, and if you are looking to wow someone. Make sure you come with a empty belly you are surly leaving very full.

We really enjoy eating at Texas de Brazil.  I will admit it is pricey, but the food there is excellent.  My daughter who is a picky eater, LOVES going there.  She absolutely loves their steak.  The service is mostly good.  We have had one time, where we had terrible service, and I complained to management, and we were comped 1/2 our meal, and given a free dessert, but most of the time the service is good, and the servers are around with the different meat portions.  I would go hungry, as you leave FULL.
