A must hang out place on a sunny afternoon. Lots of people watching, great atmosphere, a brewery next to the canal with a large field for games and a great view of the pink house.nnPub food - pizza and burgers with vege options. Spotted a salad. Avoid the red wine at all costs.
Love this place. Great atmosphere, feel and location. Food is perhaps pricey for some but it is all about the vibe.
This outdoor bar offers a fantastic atmosphere for friends to gather and enjoy drinks. The value is great, and it’s kid-friendly. They serve a variety of food options, including nachos and pizzas, on large picnic tables. There’s also a spacious field where kids and pets can play freely.
I have been going to The Terrasse de Saint Ambroise since 2012 when I had just arrived to Montreal…when there were just a couple of tables on the front door… I am so happy to see how the place has evolved and create this amazing atmosphere for everybody; bikers, skaters, runners, families, couples, singles, doggies!!! I used to go when biking in the canal and walking my dog, I love this space so much. I went today with my 7 years old kid for a Summer late dinner. The place was packed, we ordered food and drinks and we found a spot right away. There were so many people that the pizza took a bit longer than expected; they gave us a hot dog and free drinks for the waiting. Not necessary at all but very welcome. There is always someone cleaning the tables when people leave so that new comers can sit fast. The staff is very nice, quick and efficient and I love their beer. There is non alcoholic beer if needed and the hot dogs, veggie burgers and pizzas are just insane. I could keep on talking about all the reasons why The Terrasse Saint Ambroise is such a beautiful and good place to go.
