I've read about this place and have been craving it the longest time!! It was totally worth the trek to Ann Arbor!!! Their teas are INSANE! I went for Thai tea with tapioca and Popping Tapioca and it was just so much fun to drink! The place is so much fun to look at and transports you away from the usual coffee and tea shops. Can you guys put a place in downtown Detroit? :
Loved it! There drinks are of superior quality. They also carry a wide range of options. Close to university area and decent capacity of sitting options. All customers need to place the orders in the digital kiosk and before making the order they would ask for payment. What can improved...i would definitely say customer service warmth. This is hugely missing among the stuff. They did make wach and every order to the perfection...but a smile cost nothing!! The store interior can improvd too. Very difficult to park unless you consider parking in the adjacent uni areas. Parking: There are very limited spot...but I would suggest to park in adjacent uni area Wheelchair accessibility: Some would need to help with the door if you consider entering.
Busy boba shop with a pop culture appeal but otherwise comparable to other large boba chains that offer customization of drinks i.e. different toppings, sugar level. There were a lot of young children, families, and some young adults when we stopped by. It was chaotic. The place also had like children's books there that people were flipping through. Overall, this place might not be for you if 1 you don't like being around kids or 2 you're looking for somewhere quiet. It was also way too warm. Maybe it was the number of people, but the place had no air flow. I felt bad for the employees. I also was developing a headache from the heat. I ordered a dragonfruit iced drink with herbal jelly with 30% sugar, which tasted great but looked like some vampire's favorite congealed blood drink I enjoyed my drink but was not into the store's atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: They have some children's books to look at and the sugary drinks are popular with young children.
Good, but can be better. Had a lot of expectations after seeing all the good reviews, but had better bubble tea at other stores. The store itself is fancy with all technology, nice ambience and friendly people. Good place for hanging out with friends. Wide variety of options to select from.
Rose tea is my favorite! I have never experienced it before Tea Ninja and decided to give something new a try! So glad I did. My first experience with Tea Ninja was a delivery in which I ordered the Rose Tea, Taro Milk Tea and a Chocolate Bombe. The Rose Tea was my favorite, so I returned to the actual store and purchased another later in the week. I like how the customer can choose which items they would like included in their drink. I prefer NOT to have Tapioca and did not want to have any of the Bubbles tried them before, not a big fan. I also like how I can choose how sweet I want my drink to be depending on the amount of sugar. The owner is sweet and tries her best to answer any questions to educate the consumer.
Having an interest in martial arts and everything Japanese, I loved the ninja theme of this bubble tea shop. I ordered a large Taro Oreo Slush. What is great about this place is the customer’s ability to customize their selections like the amount of sugar, additional toppings or bubbles, etc. The decor and even the cups feature adorable ninjas. Will stop in whenever in the area!
Average bubble tea place not much different than the 5 other bubble tea places near campus. Nothing really special about it but they do have some unique flavors that should not be missed if you have an adventurous palate. I do like the fact they give free tapioca with your drink which i thought was a plus. They also allow customization on how much sugar you can add. The place has a retro pop vibe with free wifi which you cant beat.
Had Boba all around Ann Arbor and have to say this place is the best. Selection, variety, dairy-free options, quick service, great online experience. Most of all, good tea.Food: 5/5
My sister and I visited today! Both the brown sugar milk tea and rose strawberry were delicious. We also shared a tiramisu, which was so pretty and tasted great.
The staff were nice, and I liked the atmosphere of the place. I’d say the Taro bubble tea didn’t taste much of Taro. And the peach oolong tea I ordered with little sugar was still too sweet for me, so I’ll try it with no sugar next time.
