This place is awesome! A really cool new building and environment as well as delicious food. The place is nice and inviting and the waitstaff we're very pleasent. The tabouli is great and you'd be doing a disservice if you didn't get a side of hummus. The baklava was the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend eating here.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
This was my first time to Jerusalem Garden and the experience was great. I was there for lunch on a Thursday in the winter. The food was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the Chicken with Hummus and the Falafels. My friends ordered the Shawarma Sandwich and the Kabab Sandwich and everyone was happy with their food. We all had Baklava to finish the meal. The portions were good. The restaurant was well-lit, clean, and not crowded. The restrooms were clean also. They have black t-shirts for sale. See photos.
One of the most decent Mediterranean food I've tasted in Michigan. Best part I liked is, quick service. You order and in a couple of minutes your food is at your table. We ordered the chicken shawarma, falafel sampler, fattoush salad with fried pita chips, chicken kabob with pilaf rice, yogurt cucumber dip, toum and hummus. Everything was fresh and nice. I really liked the falafel, ordered them twice. The only thing that I felt could have been better were their fries, probably just our batch, but our fries were really salty! Couldn't enjoy them. But rest of the food we ordered was very close to authentic. Its a nice cosy place tucked in a corner of Ann Arbor. Must visit if you want to have good Mediterranean cuisine.
My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite. It was a bit confusing at first as I wasn’t sure if we were to wait to be seated or we seat ourselves. There are 2 lines. One for dine in and one for carryout. When I got up to the hostess area she said to seat ourselves and then come back up to that desk area to place our order and pay. I did as she instructed but had to wait in line again to place my order. Next time I will just place my order then sit down. Food was fantastic and came to our table quickly. Lots of great Vegan items for my daughter to choose from. The hummus was really good. I had the Chicken Shawarma plate and my daugter had a falafel wrap.
Excellent lunch spot. Food was delicious. Staff was top notch. Make sure you get the Whipped Garlic. The Jerusalem Burger was PACKED with flavor...super good. I though the Chicken Shawarma was my fav...til I tasted the Jerusalem Burger.
Yummy and authentic- Came in for a falafel sandwich and tastes like something you'd literally find in the Middle East. Perfectly cooked, actual Lebanese bread and not tortilla wraps masked as bread, and lots of flavour. Definitely not Middle Eastern priced, but I guess that's just Ann Arbor for you. Will definitely return to explore more of the menu.
They had a decent line but we moved through it very quickly and the food didn't take very long either. Lemonade was great as was the food. We had the shawarma & falafel sandwiches, along with a hummus appetizer and all were great. We had heard great things about this place and it didn't disappoint.
Loved everything. Chicken shawarma plate is definitely a must-try menu. This old local business does their job so properly that it is crowded by people all the time. Their patio is now open, so you can enjoy sunshine while you're having their great foods.
Great experience and amazing food. Things changed up a bit since we were last there. You order as you come in, then you're off to find a table. This process worked well. Meals were served to the table. Everything was incredibly fresh and very well made. Flavors came together beautifully. I had a chicken kabob, my husband the grape leaves, plus many extras on the side. Highly recommended.
When entering this place, one might wonder if it is fast food or not. The answer is "it is good food fast". Fresh ingredients, great flavor profiles, more than generous portions. My wife and I ordered two dinners, but one was enough for both of us. FYI, leftovers are great. Dine in or take out. Wonderful place.
