One of the first restaurants we went to after the lockdown was lifted. Huge portions for their hot pot, good thing I had it for lunch, didn't need a dinner. Appetizers were also delicious and decent portion size. The bubble teas were kind average.
The food was not fresh and when we inform the staff about it, he gave us attitude in a return , and the fruit tea that does not has fruit in also taste horrible, definitely not worth the price, will not come again. BAD QUALITY,BAD SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
We ordered from Tasty Point for delivery a couple times before the restrictions allowed dine-in service and we especially loved their Braised Pork — so we decided to try them today! We had the deep fried chicken cutlet before and really enjoyed them, but having them fresh is a totally different ball game! The hot pot we ordered the Tom Yum one tasted like home. But the tripe is the star of the show — it’s unlike anything we’ve ever had before: it’s fresh, it held its texture really well, it’s super tasty and just unforgettable. Give em a try!
Tasty, clean and tidy. Flavour was wonderful but It would be better if they were using short grain rice, which most Taiwanese like, instead of long grain one. Bubble tea was great and not too sweat. But I thought their bubbles were kept too long and turning hard though.
This was really bad. I ordered the #1 and the broth tasted like water. They also presented it to me in this awful looking pile... Don't charge Boiling Point prices if the food isn't going to taste or look good. The meat was tough and it tasted like it has been sitting there for a while and reheated for me. The rice with braised meat was better but meh. My friend got the laksa pot and it was marginally better but the broth was still like water. They forgot to give me the pork blood which was the whole point of me ordering #1 but at least the server was really nice and tried to make up for it with a free dessert. Also got bubble tea but they didn't have pearls lol. The popcorn chicken was good. Maybe the other items are good but for a hot pot place you'd think the hotpot would be good.. unfortunately not the case here.
To be honest it's VERY impressive how tasty the food is!! Really worth the name!! Everything here made fresh when u order it!! Famous for their hot pot, rice dishes, Taiwanese snacks, bubble tea. Ample parking in front of the restaurant. The staff their very friendly. Overall we love our experience here, well come back soon try out different items on the menu!! Good job!!
The service was great and almost everything we ordered was delicious. The coconut curry soup was good and the ingredients were all fresh. The laksa soup was not great. It just tasted like salty water. It could've used more laksa flavor. We also ordered the lamb skewers which were perfectly grilled and with the perfect amount of seasoning. We also really enjoyed the sticky rice dessert with sesame powder. I would definitely return because there were so many things on the menu i want to try.
The hot pot tasted pretty delicious but overpriced I would say. We had a stinky tofu & Taiwanese spicy. The stinky pot has always been my favourite, love the flavour of the stinky tofu, but not everyone could bear with the smell lol. I used to go to a hot pot place in Vancouver, which is pretty similar to this one, so I kind of have the same expectations for this one. But I have to say hot pot in that store tasted better than this one and cheaper. The service was great.
Come here twice. I think the coconut curry pot and the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken is really good. Milk Tea will be depend on people since it taste a bit bitter because of the tea leaf they use.
The food here reminded me the time I was traveling Taiwan due to the food presentation and the taste. I see some people complaining they pre-cook all meat, but for me I like it better. Because I can eat them right away. The braised pork rice is so good :D!! I also tried their fried chicken. It was tender and delicious. Maybe a bit too much oil.. but I would still order again.
