Overall fantastic experience here if you love BBQ. You cook on your own and they have various dipping sauce you can use. Meat is freshly prepared and taste yummy. My favourite is the finger meat very chewy and juicy. The staff here is friendly they check your table very often to see if you need something. For first time customer recommend to try the meat lover combo so you able to taste different kind of meat all at once. At the end they give us free dessert and it was awesome. We love to go next and and try more items! Wish they can maintain the same quality for the long term.

I was excited to check this new place out and had the opportunity to today. The portions are a bit small for the price but the quality of meat is good and the dipping sauces compliment the meat very well. I also ordered the tofu which I enjoyed the corn cheese was so so. Everything that is brought to your table is very aesthetically pleasing and the service is fast and friendly. I like how the restaurant is set up as it’s quite spacious and has a welcoming vibe. For a restaurant that just opened I think it’s pretty good and with time I’m sure it will be even better so I do recommend to check it out!

Papa’s Grill is a new restaurant that needs time to find its groove. The portions of the meat are much smaller than expected considering the price and the cheesy corn is straight up canned corn with shredded cheese no seasonings. The miso soup is terrible, it tastes like salty warm water. The fried chicken was good but on the salty side. The food is okay, the service is okay but the staff is struggling, and the atmosphere is nice. We had the meat combo, cheesy corn, fried chicken, and a drink. The drink and seasonings were delicious. The mango ice cream is really creamy and delicious. I don’t recommend checking out Papa’s Grill but I think it’ll get better with time.

We wandered over because the local pubs were crowded and noisy. What a happy stroke of luck. Cooking our meat while trying the prepared options made for a fun date night. I Will be thrilled to return!Food: 5/5

We have all you can eat and kid under 5 eat free, older kid is half price, it is really good value and fresh meat of various choices. The all you can eat also includes side dishes, snacks and salad. Their dipping sauce is super good for meat and is different from Korean style grill. The servers are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing, great for family. We will be back when we crave a good BBQ place. So happy with this new restaurant in the neighborhood. Keep up the good work! Kid-friendliness: Good for kids with kids friendly options such as rice and noodle. Ice cream is good too.

We had an amazing dining experience at Papa's Grill on 450 Brentwood Way NW in Calgary. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The Korean dishes were especially delicious, showcasing their dedication to authentic flavors. My only suggestion would be to consider adding kimchi as a complimentary side with Korean orders. It would be a wonderful gesture that would truly elevate the Korean culinary experience and make it even more delightful. Overall, I highly recommend Papa's Grill for a delightful meal!

Had a great time celebrating with friends here. There’s definitely a lot of meat for one round for the premium option. We seasoned our meats to our liking and had a blast cooking it. The waiters were very responsive and even though you originally have 90 minutes for your reservation, they are not strict with that.

Checked this place out 3 days after opening and loved it! Each table has grills to cook a selection of meats. I particularly enjoyed the short ribs. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with clean flavours. They are have a selection of desserts. The handmade tiramisu was excellent. Will be coming again soon.

Stopped by today for a quick early dinner with a friend and we were both underwhelmed by the food. We ordered the Meat Lovers Combo $80 and for the price — the portions were incredibly small. The meats tasted old and were extremely dry and hard to chew. The combo came with a miso soup/rice + ice cream; the miso soup was oddly bland? The food aside, the service was good. Nothing notable but our server was friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was nice. The music was good and it wasn’t too overly quiet or loud.
