My first time trying Japanese souffle pancakes and loved it. My cousins have tried other places but this one is their favorite by far. Had the Fuwa Fuwa special with berries, my cousin had the cheesecake, and the foods did not disappoint. Took about 15 min to receive pancakes because they are made to order, so expect a little wait. Meanwhile you can try one of their drinks and admire the cute ambience of the restaurant. Will make my way back when I'm in Calgary again.

Totally amazing! I first had these in Japan, so it's really great to see a place in Calgary doing authentic Japanese pancakes! We loved all the choices... Will definitely be back. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was not busy at all. There was only one other table that had customers.

I've never had a Japanese pancake before. I can safely say that they are amazing! Very light, fluffy, and packed with flavour. The price is also extremely manageable and the portion is enough to fill you and be satisfied with a drink and meal. We'll worth your time to come by here.

I had a fantastic experience at this coffee shop thanks to Max and Mai. In Sannycide location .They went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I had a great time. There was a small misunderstanding, but they resolved it by offering us a delicious cheesecake for free. Their customer service was outstanding, and I'll definitely be returning for more coffee and cheesecake. Thank you, Max and Mai!

Good place to get Japanese souffle pancakes. The popular items such as tiramisu and matcha pancake are worth tasting. The pancakes are fluffy and soft - and the eggy flavor comes through. The toppings such as matcha or chocolate powder and the syrups are okay. It lacked the depth of flavor for me. Great, clean ambience, cutesy photo-op restaurant. A variety of seating options - standard tables and bar counters by the windows... The staff is friendly, with prompt service. Accessible seating available. No vegan food options.

This charming establishment is located near downtown Calgary. I had high expectations for the Japanese pancakes, and this place definitely exceeded them. Its convenience is a notable aspect. The staff members were friendly and provided me with recommendations on what to try. Choosing from the wide variety of delicious flavors they offer was a difficult decision, but I ultimately settled on their delightful Fuwa Fuwa signature pancake. Although the preparation time for orders is approximately 15 to 20 minutes, I didn't mind at all knowing that they make everything from scratch. The pancake I ordered was not only tasty but also incredibly fluffy, and it didn't take me long to finish it, much to my amusement. I am eagerly looking forward to revisiting this place when I return to Calgary. I do wish I could have shared this fun and fantastic experience with my friends. On my next visit, I plan to return and try more of their enticing flavors!

Very delicious pancakes, make sure you reserve a table, this place is very popular and quite busy, especially on weekends. Update: Happy hour on weekdays at 2-5 pm. Good deal being Pancake+drink = 15 CAD, but valid for dine-in only.

Paid 26$ for the smallest Earl grey cheesecake ever. Thought would listen to 5 star reviews on here. Not worth it!! So sweet and dense you'd better off spending your money for actual quality cheesecake at Costco then here. Do not recommend at any cost....

I had the pleasure to Sample then at the 2023 Japanese Festival and tried their mango souffle pancake and original cheesecake. I love cheesecake and their cheesecake is amazing. Very light and fluffy I did wish there was a crust but I coiled the whole cake in one sitting for sure it's that good. I did visit the Kensington location and it was the same experience with the cheesecake. This time I also ordered the signature Fuwa pancake. I did personally prefer the pancake but their pancakes are very light and fluffy and have a balance of sweetness. Overall with price factored in and being small local this place is definitely worth trying.

One of the finest dessert place in Calgary located in beautiful surrounding with lots of places restaurants around. Ambience of this place is nice. Coming to the food, they are freshly prepared and the quantity served is great. Especially the pancakes, they are tastiest, are super fluffy and soft. It meted right away in my mouth as I ate them. Totally amazing presentation of foods and taste is top notch. Loved the macrons as well. Present staffs were super polite and friendly. Must go to place of you wanna satisfy for sweet craving. They offer different pancakes, macrons, croffles and drinks like lattes etc. the store offers washroom as well which is neatly maintained. They also offer happy hour from Monday to Friday: 2-5 pm. So go grab a tasty bite from fuwa fuwa.
