Story

A casual fun-dining restaurant serving feel good food, craft beer, and premium BC wine on tap. We source local ingredients and commit to using organic and Ocean Wise products whenever possible. Our beer and wine program is the most innovative of its kind, offering 36 craft beers and 16 premium BC wines, many of which are exclusive.

Located at the foot of Lonsdale, in the heart of the historic Shipyards, our restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with breathtaking views of the Burrard Inlet and downtown Vancouver.

Special thanks to Grey to make our experience exceptional. Food was amazing as usual. This time I tried rice bowl and was too good.. and my husband like the steak.nnI would like to share my comment on one of the host which was leaning on the pole at entrance and was rude and not professional.
Came here to watch a Canucks game with a group of 4 and there was a long wait list. We got a seat after about 30 minutes, despite having reservations as some tables had not cleared out yet.nnThe food and drinks are about what you would expect from the Tap and Barrel group. Bar food, consistent taste, and nothing too adventurous.nnSome of the drinks that weren’t beers left a lot to be desired. We ordered one of their slush drinks that had to be sent back because the slush was flavourless.nnOther than that, good for beers and snacks, with a solid late night happy hour menu.
I came here for dinner with my friend to celebrate her birthday and we had a great time. It was pretty busy with live music and the canucks were playing. I ordered a raspberry crush which was yummy and a falafel veggie burger. Good service and a great atmosphere. I've been here several times and will continue to come here.
Such a great location for Happy Hour especially when the weather is perfect with views of downtown Vancouver on the patio. This place has a large selection of beers on tap and great cocktails as well.
This place was about what I expected. Large, high volume, okay beer selection, food sort of meh. Maybe I just ordered poorly but I didn't love the spicy tuna burger. Maybe I was just comparing it to the many outstanding ones I've had before and this one just didn't measure up. Oh well...nnThere is a very large bar area and the service was pretty attentive there.nnJust a bit more of a commercial / chain vibe than I really wanted. But hey, they have sports on big screens which was the draw for me anyway.
