Anatoli Souvlaki was opened by Helen & Thomas in the spring of 1984. They had a dream of bringing the food of Greece together with great service to the North Shore. Opened in the sleepy neighbourhood of lower Lonsdale and lived above the restaurant to ensure the quality and service was what they envisioned for their business. They were able to create a North Vancouver staple, a successful thriving business based on faithful patrons and a reputation that has been passed through generations.
Continuing in this tradition, with the key focus on quality and maintaining their parent’s vision, Alexi (Master of Lamb) and Iani (Pita Boy) have successfully taken over the business and managed to bring the restaurant to a whole new level.

Benefiting from years of experience in Canada and Greece, they are able to combine the core value of `Home Cooked `meals and master the perfect concoction of taste and style.
