Café by Tao

Ordered a pizza for dinner and got it delivered by skip the dishes. Took 20mins and was worth it! So flavourful and had wunderful fresh vege on top that went great with marinated mushrooms. Is great if you like cold or hot pizza! Made me full without the sick pizza feeling! So yummy

I haven't even left and I'm so eager to write this review. Café by Tao is absolutely amazing. Food for the soul and without a doubt, made with love. I have allergies to gluten, soy, dairy and eggs, and there was plenty of food to choose from (recommendations below)! The staff was very welcoming and the food made me dance in my seat. So good. The flavours, the textures, the nourishment..oh and of course, the freshness! I drove 35 minutes and it was 100% worth the traffic. Ha. Also, important to note - very clean restaurant and restrooms. Agathe, and her daughter, Chrystelle have a truly amazing thing going on here. Hands down the best plant-based, vegan food option in North Vancouver. The whole team at Tao is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly; and the service is very quick, every time. I have been coming here for over a year now. It's my spot. The new location is beautiful, and always ensures a very peaceful aura.

Amazing food. Pricey, but it's because they use organic quality food. Delicious matcha and elixirs. People spend money at the bar without thinking twice about it so why not spend it on nutritious food to keep you healthy. - @brucesroots

Absolutely worth the food and outdoor ambience. This is a wonderful raw food restaurant. Never disappointed with the food quality and freshness. Worth every penny. They have created a beautiful outdoor space (that can be enjoyed even in the rain or cold). The vibe is casual but totally on trend. To find it you are walking UP stairs from the street, once you are there you won't regret it! I live in New York City and this is my go-to raw food place when I'm filming in Vancouver.
