The Lobby Restaurant at Pinnacle at the Pier

The setting and view were fantastic, mountain range, the harbour - however restaurants are about food not setting. My wife and I ordered Steak Frites & the Halibut. The Steak was poorly seasoned, the frites were better than the meat, and my wife’s Halibut was over cooked. No biggie, sent back, Halibut takes 3+3+6 to cook. 30 minutes later we get our Halibut back, undercooked. I have finished my meal, by that time my wife lost her appetite. We tipped our server as it wasn’t her fault, but damn.

Our server, Cinnamon, was very friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything. She also made great drink and desert recommendations. We will be back here tomorrow morning for breakfast. The food were saw go by our table looked delicious. The restaurant is currently decorated with pretty decorated Christmas trees and multicolored Christmas lights. Goes well with the red vinyl booths and white cloth chairs.

In all fairness, this review is based solely on the service of our server. She was terrible to deal with, and acted like she didn't want to be there. The service at other restaurants in the area was far superior to this one.

The place is a rip off. Service wasn’t very friendly. It’s way over priced for breakfast. Not sure about dinner. No nice presentation. I am willing to pay a good price for a meal but when it’s so basic I have a problem with that.

You get what you pay for. Foods great. Service good. Atmosphere wonderful.
