Story

With 180° views of Vancouver, from the bustling Port to the green belt of Stanley Park, no other restaurant in North Vancouver gets you this close to the water. PIER 7 is built on the boardwalk of the historic Victory Shipyards in the revitalized waterfront of the Lonsdale Quay area. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, with ocean view dining on two levels and outdoor dining featuring a fireplace and comfortable seating on two patios. The menu is seafood focused, with an emphasis on boat-to-table choices, and seasonal offerings of meat and poultry. The lively bar area is a favourite stop after work for professionals coming home on the nearby Seabus and the burgeoning ship building industry adjacent to the pier. This was my wife and I first time there. We did have a reservation sometime ago but had to cancel.nThe service was good and the food was great. They sat us by a window to see the amazing view. We had the Fried Cod and Chips and an order of prawns. The prawns were delicious and the cod and fries were cooked well. All and all the atmosphere is a lil quiet needs some music but otherwise very nice place to eat and enjoy a beautiful view.
My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Pier 7 on November 10.nWe couldn’t have been happier with the restaurant - the view was amazing, the food was spectacular, and most of all the service was just top notch - shout out to the manager, Eddie, and the two lovely servers who took care of us on our special day, Nina and Erica I could be wrong with the second name, I’m sorry for that. you both were so lovelynnThe communication with Eddie was just amazing, he was very helpful throughout the week leading up to our wedding. On the day itself he was there making sure we are looked after.nnThe food - my guests were very very happy and full after the wedding.nnWe couldn’t be more happier and words cannot express how grateful we are for the team and not to forget to mention the amazing kitchen/BOH for giving us such a wonderful memory to look back at to. I wish we had photos of the food to add to the review. But we were so busy with our guests.
Beautiful view. Great service and the food is authentic. We had the prime burger, calamari and their seafood chowder. Note: the fried jalapeño in the calamari has some kick to it.
What a great meal with the ocean right by your side. The service from the servers was amazing, attentive, friendly and very professionals from start to finish!nA very relaxed dinner focused on seafood, and a great conversation, two ingredients for a great time. And the pier area was just a very good surprise, lots of fun and movement!nStrongly recommend for you to give it a try :
This is an updated review.nnThe first couple of experiences I had with Pier 7 wasn’t really great to the point where I never considered coming back. However, after the last time I went here the manager reached out to me and asked about what happened. Keon, the manager. professionally handled the complaint and went above and beyond to fix multiple issues I had regarding the service.nnInvited me back and saved a table for me on a busy weekend with a really great view. We’ve ordered the chicken spaghettini, steak frites, prawn cocktail and the pier 7 oyster trio. I didn’t really raise my hopes up, but this time it was a really great experience. The checkbacks were consistent, food was great steak frites could’ve been more softer. The dessert was also pretty good. As a restaurant manager myself, this service recovery’s pretty good and again, Keon did a very great job.nnI’m just hoping that for my next visit, the service won’t change and be able to keep it consistent.nnThank you Pier 7. See you every weekends!
