Tamarind Vietnamese Grill & Noodle House

My office popped over as our new student is vegan and we wanted to make sure she felt included. Never really been to a vegan restaurant before. Holy cow it was so good. I had the vermicelli. So good. The "fake" chicken was a bit weird but the "beef" was very good and the substitute for fish sauce added a nice unquie flavor. Highly impressed and will be back for sure.

Overall, my first vegan restaurant experience was very good. The server we had was very nice and the foods are worth having trying! We had the Crispy Noodles w/ the mock beef and the Tamarind House Special Pho. It’s a banger would definitely recommend!

This is a really delicious plant based restaurant. I had the fake "beef" spicy pho soup on a cool windy rainy day and it hit the spot perfectly. It was really good and I didn't need to add any extra sauces or anything. Overall had a great experience and the food was great!

I ordered the bun hue spicy beef noodle soup. The broth was very flavorful with a nice kick. It’s loaded with different vegetables, fresh chewy noodles, and an array of vegetarian meats.

Ordered the Laksa and the crepe! The flavour was amazing and the noodles were perfect. We didn’t think it was plant based until they informed us at the door which took us by surprise! The staff was super friendly and nice. They even made sure to tell us how to properly eat the crepe which was super cool. Definitely taking my vegan mom there next time!

First time experienced Vietnamese vegan food in Canada in my 6 years here. It's more than amazing to say the least. Tasty and yummy in every bite . I got this lunch box for free on giving-back-to-community occasion. Thank you for the delicious meal. Coming back for sure!

The homemade vegan “meat” is incredible. I ordered a vermicelli bowl and a few appetizers and it was some of the most delicious Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The customer service is also amazing! The food was quick to arrive and well worth the raving reviews. This place deserves more recognition!

Always amazing food. Been going for years and I am never disappointed. Fully vegan and so many dishes to choose from. Great restaurant and highly recommend for everyone.

The food was so delicious! I love the calm and peaceful ambience here! Thank you Cô Chú for opening and running such a great restaurant I will visit the restaurant for sure next time I'm in Calgary.

Their veggie laksa was good. It was creamy but the soup is thin. The taste is not overpowering. Their veggie pad thai is also good which I ordered as a takeout. My palette prefer a little saltier tho.
