Tamale Spaceship

Had Tamale Space at my wedding in September 2019. We had an assortment of tacos with sides and guacamole and quesadillas for appetizers. We had a tasting with Manny beforehand to create our menu. Everything was delicious at the tasting and at the wedding. We got so many compliments. The catering staff was excellent as well and pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Tamale Spaceship!

We got Tamale Spaceship to cater our wedding and it was the best decision ever! Manny is so great to work with and the food is amazing! Everyone at my wedding kept commenting on how tasty everything was. So professional and latino owned. Highly recommended!!!

Very hard to work with. When our wedding changed due to the pandemic, they will not answer our call and emails. When we call and we tell our names, they always say that Manny is not available. But they did not have any problems responding when they were booking us and asking for our deposits. I know some people dont share the same experience, and good for you. But for us, it was very exhausting and frustrating experience. When we finally settled on a drop off catering so we can use our credit from our deposit, that was also a horrible undertaking. We got an email a week before our event that they cant deliver and we must pickup our food. During pickup, the courier waited outside for 30mins because nobody was opening/answering the door. We called for 20mins no one is answering the phone. They know our pickup time and no one was there to attend for pickups? Food was mediocre. Elote needs salt, Barbacoa also needs salt. It’s just sad because they were referred to us.

Tamale Spaceship was amazing! Manny and his team were great making sure everyone was fed and hydrated all night. Everyone raved about the food and their service! Manny was easy going and communicated throughout the whole process easing our worries and answering questions. The food was phenomenal sope appetizer, pollo brazas tacos, and elote are must haves!. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!! 9/23 wedding

Manny and the tamale spaceship catered our wedding a couple of weeks ago - they were absolutely FANTASTIC. I honestly cannot say enough good things. The food was amazing, and so many of our guests made a point to tell us how much they enjoyed the food. Also they provided top notch service. We were dealing with a particularly difficult venue, but Manny stepped up and really took care of everything for the day. They were amazing, and one of our best decisions that we made! Try manny’s food once and you’ll love it. Hire them for your next catered event and you will not regret it!!

We had tamale spaceship catering for a backyard wedding celebration. Our original plans had to be rescheduled and then changed due to Covid. Manny was so lovely to work with during this time of change. He was accommodating and flexible. He delivered our order directly to our home! The food was excellent and all our guests raved about the flavor and enjoyed everything from the guacamole to the chocolate flan. His margaritas are the best! We are so grateful to Manny for his support and his amazing food! We highly recommend The Tamale Spaceship!

Manny and his team are absolutely amazing. I mean this literally, without him we wouldn't have had a ceremony. His team took care of all the set up, serving, food prep, bartending, and clean up so we didn't have to worry about it on our big day. All this without mentioning how amazing the food was, still weeks after our wedding people go out of their way to talk about how awesome the food was. The appetizers and tacos were perfect and the elotes were a game changer. I'll say it again Manny, thank you and your team for helping make our day special.

Great Tacos and appetizers. I've never had Tamales before this place, so I can't be a good judge. My main love is that The Tamale Spaceship is SUPER Vegetarian friendly. They use no meat products besides the actual meat and can replace most meat options with a vegetarian replacement.

I had an opportunity to eat at the Tamale Spaceship food truck. The workers were very friendly. It felt very inviting to eat there. The two stars comes from my reaction to when I opened my Space Guacamole and found a meager pile of guac on top of a large pile of chips. By the time I finished the quac I split it as much as possible, scraping it off some chips and onto others I still had 25% of chips remaining. The chips were ok, not very salted. Also the Al Pastor taco was ok. Not much to complain about that.
