Taj Indian Restaurant

We love Indian food and decided to try Taj Indian restaurant here in Airdrie. We both loved the buttered Chicken and rice. We also had a side of Nan bread that was also amazing.It was very fresh and had great taste. I really wish they had the buffet on Saturdays, but we will try and make it on the Wednesday evening when my schedule works out. Buffets allow you to try new things. The sad thing about it was the place was empty on a Saturday afternoon and I just did not understand why. It was great food, Server was very good and very polite and the atmosphere was very nice, they had East Indian music play that was very nice,making it even more authentic. I also was very happy to see that it was very clean. If you like East Indian food I would say, GO!!! to Taj Indian Restaurant you will not be disappointed. We will be back. If they open up the buffet on Saturdays we will be back more often.

we went here looking for a change of scenery and food and were very pleasantly surprised. Great service and food was delicious. Perhaps a little more $$ than we'd normally spend on lunch but the quality of the food is worth it :)

Lunch today was fantastic! I had the hot chicken curry my dad had vegetarian and both were delicious and the perfect amount of spice Heat and amount of food! Very reasonable price for lunch especially considering the high quality of food.

In town from Edmonton and was looking for an Indian Restaurant. Found Taj online and came to try it out. Found the service to be very personalized; like a family restaurant. The dishes were just excellent! Would recommend and would definitely come back!

Owners know they are the only main Indian restaurant and thus charge $60 for takeaway for 2 people. Google "A Fine Balance Catering and Cafe" they are a family run Indian cafe in Airdrie, not as well known. They have amazing food, much more honest pricing and I just enjoy the experience a lot more overall. Just trust me on this one, check out the Fine Balance place it will change your life. I will note that Taj has a much nicer "dining experience" with nicer tables and atmosphere, but for food quality and price they are quite bad.
