Story

The oldest house in Airdrie, built in 1905. This beautifully renovated winebar and bistro, with it's cozy shabby chic feel is the perfect spot for a business lunch or romantic dinner. Semi private rooms available for business meetings, team building, lunch & learns, bday parties etc. Located in downtown Airdrie. First & Vine offers tapas style dining experience where sharing is encouraged. Serving globally inspired food with a Canadian feel, delicious wines, prosecco on tap and rotating beer taps. As I sit here in this beautiful, cozy, and perfect atmosphere there is one thing missing... a book. I travel a lot and eat out a lot yet I can not seem to find a menu with delicious fresh prepared food with simple and earthly ingredients. This place is not remotely simple but absolutely delightful. Honestly the best food I have eaten in a very long time. I loved everything about this place and recommend a lovely quiet lunch or romantic date here. Thank you for the perfect afternoon lunch & great vibes! 10/10 for the entire experience.

Exceptional experience at First & Vine tonight. Fabulous gourmet cuisine in a cozy environment with friendly and helpful staff. For a special occasion or just a great dining experience you need to try this place. You will be blown away by the shared dining experience! 5 out of 5 in every category!

Great little spot, good quality food, good service from polite and attentive staff. My only complaint is that my wife and I wanted to celebrate a special occasion, and the people next to us had noisy kids. I thought that this was a adult type of restaurant, but today I just noticed that it says minors welcome on the website. Everyone else in the restaurant paid for a babysitter, not sure why these people couldn't have done the same. I know this isn't the fault of the restaurant, but it does make me think twice about returning.

My husband and I love this place and recommend it to everyone. The food is so delicious and the service is great. The staff are knowledgeable and the chef is the best guy ever! The wine suggestions are on point.

A hidden gem. It's a bit hidden as I've gone past it many times without noticing that the house is a restaurant. Every dish was perfect and even something simple as a potato is made sophisticated and pairs perfectly well worth the dish I ordered. The chef cares about his craft and creates a small menu, but the menu is fantastic across the board. Serves brunch, lunch, and dinners. Service is top notch for a small establishment.
