Story

Some of the most delicious dishes from China are unknown to those who have never traveled there. We aim to change that by introducing some new tastes to Middleton from both the Shanxi region of northern China and the Canton region of southern China. If you’re willing to be a little adventurous, then we guarantee that your taste buds will be rewarded. But if you’re in the mood for something more familiar, we also offer dishes with classic American Chinese flavors.

I love this place. We just keep coming back. The family who owns it is super nice and they just tell you how it is and the best things to order and how to order. For my wife and I, we love it and it's always spot on. The noodles are tremendous (can't find noodles like this anywhere else), and we love the vegetable dishes and soups. Eating family style is a must for us, so we like taking people here to try out new things. Also try the homemade hot sauce, it's awesome. While it is true that it can sometimes take a while, that's part of the meal. Take the time to enjoy each other's company, relax and then have a wonderful meal. We're always happy we came and highly recommend it.

A pleasant find in downtown Middleton. I was craving noodles and hand made noodles are very difficult to find; even more so in Wisconsin. These are fantastic. I was looking for the dim sum but it got lost in translation; next time ask for pot stickers. I had the Taigu spicy pan fried noodle lunch special. You get the option of a soda or 2 baby egg rolls. I opted for the 2 egg rolls and burned my fingers on them. They were pretty standard with cabbage inside. The noodles were a little bit chewy to the tooth and flavorful. I would have liked them to be a little more spicy. There wasn't enough burn or kick to make me sweat. Overall, a great lunch spot and I was full half way through my plate... that or I was tired from chewing. Definitely a great addition to downtown.

Well worth wait the food authentic, delicious and extremely high quality. Sometimes the meals take awhile to make. Thats because they are made the right way- not the fast cheap way.

Got the Taigu spicy noodles, pickled cabbage jalapeño and beef stir fry noodles and pork dumplings with chIves to go. Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had. all the proteins were high quality (not fatty, grisly or tough) and extremely flavorful. the noodles are obviously made by hand on premises and it shows, absolutely incredible noodles. And for the cherry on top the service is warm and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be becoming a regular here.
