Ehhhh. Nothing special of note here. It's a well known bar and grill in Middleton, but they don't do anything particular well. Food is so-so at best for bar food and their beer list isn't very impressive. Nontheless, if you love horse racing this is the place for you - two TVs are dedicated to horse racing all the time. So if you're into betting on the ponies or it's just super convenient, go here, but if you're looking for something a little more satisfying, pass Paul's by.

Just what I was looking for. A plate of tender meat and potatoes smothered in rich savory gravy. Hearty chicken and dumplings soup. A good neighborhood dive bar. Update 10/27/2017 - Excellent all you can eat perch fish fry.

Service was slow. They need more waitresses or something. But the food was absolutely incredible! I'll be back

Paul's has the best drink prices around Madison. Service is also amazing.
