We just had lunch there. Excellent sushi a la card restaurant! The quality is perfect!Be ready for huge portion.The service is wonderful. Thank you Maggie. You are soo adorable and friendly. Big thank to the restaurant chef ‍ . I highly recommend that place, and I am definitely will be a regular customer there!
Fresh sashimi especially recommend the Tako/octopus, but even better sushi rolls! Their Taiga special roll was unique and tasty, definitely worth a try. Service was friendly and quick - which is always an added plus! Highly recommend this spot to anyone in the Newmarket/Aurora area.
Nice sushi place with very clean and comfortable dining environment. I love the sushi rolls so much as the rice and fish/avocado are so matched and yummy
Our first visit to the newest Sushi restaurant in the area. We enjoyed our dinner at home and the take out presentation was great. They packed everything we needed and gave us enough of the condiments that we didnt run out. The server was helpful with choosing our food and she was really friendly. We will be back to try the dine in experience soon!
Delicious food, and VERY kind service. The restaurant is new, beautiful, and every single thing is on point. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be back. This is one of my new go to sushi places in Newmarket!
I am a sushi lover and have been to so many different sushi restaurants from basic to fancy levels, and can recognize the quality level of sushi being served, but this place is absolutely a top notch. I am an old client from their Maple location because it is close to my work place. Their new location in Newmarket which is close to where I live has the same high quality as their Maple location, plus it has a very nice authentic Japanese decorations, charming, and romantic. The fish are always fresh, the presentation is very attractive and fancy on special plates, the service is fantastic. This place was absolutely a gift for new market area.
3 weeks ago I ordered here for take out and my wife and I was super impressed. I'm here for the 2nd time, and the food is amazing and so is the service. Must come if you love sushi!Food: 5/5
One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been. They have a two locations, I’m going there since they opened first one always fresh fish, and good service.
haven’t had a chance to sit in yet, but Taiga gives big portions of really great food! the dinner bento was delicious & the menu has great variety too, planning to work my way through all of it. my new go to place for japanese cuisine!
Had a great dinner at Taiga! Excellent quality food and very welcoming atmosphere. Cant wait to come back.
