Did the lady completely forget I sat down…yes. But she seemed really sorry for it so it’s really no problem. Now to the most important part, the food! it was delicious. The noodles were fresh for sure, and a broth was just spicy enough because she let me take some spicy oil on the side. The meat was tender, and the veggies were a refreshing topping to the bowl. There isn’t much to say about the environment itself, it’s modern, clean, and well taken care of. But otherwise nothing special to note. I would’ve got an appetizers as well, but they were pretty pricey, although I’m sure the portions are large. Next time, if I come with friends, I’ll try other menu items for sure! Thank you for having me :-
Delicious noodles. I had A04 and A01, and both were absolutely amazing. The soup was flavourful, without being too spicy. There were different options of meats, I chose chicken. It was lightly fried and perfect. Any more and it would’ve been too heavy, but it was light and delicious. I usually am not a huge fan of peanuts, but in the szechuan noodles they were splendid. A must visit if you’re downtown. Cash 10% off. Parking: Paid parking a little walk away, but very manageable.
Amazing authentic Chinese food - they have a variety of noodle dishes with different noodle types and toppings to choose from that are extremely affordable and so yummy. Probably one of the best noodle dishes I’ve had in Toronto. Great bang for your buck - I paid $12 10% off with cash for a huge bowl of noodles, which is pretty much unheard of downtown. The service was very quick, and was surprised that the atmosphere was also really nice inside! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re craving soup noodles or authentic Chinese food. I will definitely be back to try their other Sichuan style dishes!
Excellent food, service was super fast and quick, beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Must try A01 and A02, the noodles are soft and chewy. I also recommend the szcehuan chicken extra spicy! Definitely will come back!Food: 5/5
This place has good food. Definitely authentic. The staff are very nice and attentive. I went later in the evening and it was very peaceful and brightly lit. Prices are reasonable and portions are a good size. Noodles are their specialty. You can also adjust the spice levels. Just ask as I like a bit of kick. Vegetarian options: Yes - confirm with staff on specific dishes Dietary restrictions: Yes - confirm with staff on specific dishes Parking: It's at Yonge ans Bathurst - side streets for possible free street parking. Otherwise, paid street parking Kid-friendliness: Yes
The beef noodles are really good! Noodles have good texture and the beef is flavorful. The cold chicken dish is good too but really really spicy somehow Food: 5/5
I come here every week now. I love the noodle soups. The broth is flavorful and you can adjust how spicy you like your soup since Szechuan chili is more of a numbing spicy. I always get medium. The spinach noodles have a great chew to it. I didn't like the machine chopped noodles as much because it was too thick. Get the first thing on the menu, and the second thing on the menu. I like it with beef or pork intestines!
This is the first time ever I found a place where whatever i ordered was outstanding! Honestly, I hope they keep their authentic quality of their dishes like this all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want delicious authentic Chinese food.Food: 5/5
I love a good bowl of thickly cut noodles. The chicken was deliciously seasoned and prepared tho the soup was leaning on the saltier side but not anymore saltier than other Chinese noodles places. I'll just try to ask for less salt next time but overall its one of the few Chinese noodles places that blew my socks off in Toronto. Will surely be coming back soon.
A meal under $16 that can’t be beat, especially in Downtown Toronto. Szechuan Noodle Bowl at Bathurst used to be a Hey Noodles location, one that I actually felt was never all too good. When the location changed to Szechuan Noodle Bowl I took a glance at the updated menu and felt the dish options looked much better so decided to give it a shot. And boy am I happy that I did, this place has shot up my list and has become a spot I repeatedly visit for a quick and cheap sit-down meal. I’ve been to Szechuan Noodle House three times so far, and I can only speak on one dish here because I keep coming back for the same great dish: A01 Noodle Sichuan Style with Ground Pork. The noodles are cooked extremely well and have a little bounce to them, the Bok Choy offers some green to the dish, and the seasoned ground pork when mixed all together becomes an awesome and simple dish. I always love to ask for some chili oil on the side to add because I feel it elevates the dish and gives it a hint of spice. The dish itself is $11.99, so after tax AND tip this very filling meal comes out to under $16. The restaurant is very simple, nothing to write home about ambience wise, but the service here as always been great. Usually the same lady is working who is quick to take your order, fill your water glass, and accommodate any requests. She’s always incredibly friendly when bringing the bill over, and I love that this spot’s recommended tips on the machine start so low unlike other restaurants that have their recommendation trending upwards. Szechuan Noodle House is located in an area of Toronto with a lot of competition with options to eat at, but I genuinely believe this place makes for an incredible quick and cheap option to eat at that will for sure not disappoint.
