Love Dr Manchek. She’s the best Dr. I’ve had. I can’t say enough good things about her. She listens, and I can tell she really cares about her patients. I also love her nurses. I can’t say the same about the front end staff unfortunately. Every time I try to make an apt or call for information I hang up annoyed because the person at the desk is so rude. Now I just ask to talk to one of her nurses so I don’t have to deal with the person answering the phone. I’d give this clinic 5/5 if it wasn’t for the front end.
The Doctors are amazing. The staff at the reception is terrible. Very rude, extremely I would say. There is an older lady very nice but the rest of them, wow, it is mind blowing how they treat patients. And if you need them to call you back with some answers to your questions, ha! Good luck with that.
This place has really went down hill the last couple years. The front end ladies are all rude, and hate their jobs I would assume. They don't care about their patients the way they use to. Do yourself a favor and get on a waiting list for the Family health clinic instead. They have an online portal where you can actually talk to your doctor, this clinic has no easy way to even speak to your own doctor! Appointments take up to a month here, whereas my Fiance and daughter get in, in a day or two at the family health clinic. The doctors here aren't the problem. It's everyone else, and their lack of caring.
Dr. Schwartz has been excellent in his attention to detail and persistence with my mental and physical health. The assistants out front are consistently professional and helpful.
My interaction with Dr. Evan Lundall is one of the best interactions with a doctor I have ever had. not that I have had generally negative experiences with Doctors. I came in to renew a prescription and he seemed to genuinely care, not just about my physical, but also my emotional, and spiritual health. He encouraged me and inspired me. Thank you Dr. Lundall.
My friend and I booked an appointment 6 weeks ago,she's having horrible stomach pain and didn't want to go to emergency because she said she wasn't crippled by it...I needed a referral for another colonoscopy as well as finding out why my weight is sky rocketing...26 lbs in 3 months! Yesterday my friend received a confirmation call...great..I didn't receive any call. This morning at 8:24 my friend received a cancellation call from the clinic again I received nothing. I phoned them back and was told there was an emergency and our appointments were both canceled. I asked if they were setting us up with a different Dr. Due to the length of time we had waited and was told nobody was available. I understand emergencies happen yet they cannot tell me they couldn't squeeze at least one of us in. My friend is in need of a Drs advice as well as tests done. I would have waited for another day!! I'm so disappointed..we travel 45 minutes to get to the clinic I would have appreciated abit of notice...REALLY I WOULD HAVE LIKED A PHONE CALL PERIOD! NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!
Front desk staff are so sweet, Monica is a pleasure to speak with. The doctors are thorough and kind, I always feel as though I'm being well taken care of. I'm also always admitted on time. I so appreciate everyone who works at this clinic.
Feeling frustrated and sad right now so I went to this website to make a good review for you guys. I wish I could go back to my former family Doctor in Sylvan Lake Dr. MC Van Schalkwyk, je took care of me when I was going through breast cancer. Since I moved away, I’ve never been with a doctor who is as kind and caring and who follows up on me like Dr. MC does, even the receptionists over there were really nice. Most of the doctors here in the city are a certain culture and I think it has something to do with their culture that reflects how they treat people If only I could drive down an hour and a half just to see Dr. MC again of Sylvan Lake, he is the one who took care of me during Cancer. This dr. here doesn’t follow up on me, I had to take care of myself if it’s Mammogram time already or whatever I wanted to leave the Doctor I am seeing here in St. Albert and reading reviews of other clinics near me, but I couldn’t find any good reviews either, a lot of people also complained about how rude the receptionists are. My Doctor also has bad reviews where the complains were the same as how I feel about her and how she treats patients. I don’t know what to do, and I’m glad next month is the end of my 10th year taking Tamoxifen and I wouldn’t have to go see her in a while anymore. And if I’ll ever have little issues here and there I’l just walk-in any clinic. Or if I’m in an emergency, I’l just go to a hospital’s ER. I think a medical clinic should make people feel safe and not scared to talk about their concerns because they feel Doctor or the receptionist is in a rush, is rude and doesn’t care
Very impressed with how warm and inviting this practice is on account of the wonderful team who work here. It is apparent they really care and work hard to foster a strong relationship with their patients. Dr. Manchik is bright, sharp, and keen to provide an excellent continuum of care. This clinic has my full confidence.
I have been at this doctor literally my entire life. Dr. Niemand delivered me and now he is my sons doctor. I would never be able to go anywhere else. Dr. MC dealt with my pregnancy and he is amazingly kind. Every single doctor here cares for their patients and the front end staff is awesome as well.
