Sweet Wheat Bakery

Discovered Sweet Wheat Bakery via a Google search of bakeries near me and I have been here 3 times in the past 6 days. Their pecan tarts became my instant favorite and I have recommended this place to my friends and family. They certainly deserve all the 5 star ratings they have received so here's another one to add to the list!

They make a variety of cakes and tarts of which we have tried almost all of them. They are about $3.00 each. My favorite is the chocolate cake and the pecan tart. My kids love the lemon meringue tart. Their almond croissants are also very good and go for $1.50 each. Recently the chef made banana bread with chocolate chips that go for $1.50 a slice and it was excellent. They also serve burgers, sandwiches, and best of all, chicken pie. The burgers and sandwiches are made to order, but the chicken pie is always available. For the past month I have been buying their chicken pies every week because they simply taste very good and are reasonably priced at $3.00 each. The chicken and vegetable burgers are worth a try and the steak sandwich is also excellent. Last week they started serving homemade ice creams on homemade cones. They have six flavors with the price being $2.50 per scoop. My personal favorite flavor is pistachio. Their ice cream is one of the best ice creams I have ever had. Service, price, and quality at Sweet Wheat Bakery makes this bakery a worthwhile visit. I fully recommend you try this place.

Found the bakery on Google, thought I would give them a try because they're close to home. Ordered a half slab cake, it was delicious! Different style from typical cakes. The cake is heavier and they use cream icing, which I love! Full of flavor but not too sweet. If your looking for a cake that's a little different and more pleasing for grown ups, give this place a try. I will for sure order here again! Also sampled some of the other deserts and they were great as well. Nice to find another go to place for sweets.

Extremely high quality french pastries . Highly recommended the strawberry tart along with the eclairs. There is a wide variety of sweets such as macaroons, millefeuille etc. If you haven't stopped by this bakery you are missing out on alot!! All the pastries are baked fresh.

My boyfriend surprised me with some little sweets from this bakery. Everything is well balanced to a slight sweetness level.

Decent prices. Macarons are $1.75 while slice of cakes and tarts are either $2.65 or $2.95 depending on what you choose. Reasonably sweet. I don't like sugary sweet foods so their baked products are to my liking. It taste good too! I will be back for sure.

Really good and tasty desserts ! Fairly priced and gives a good representation of French/Algerian desserts. I definitely recommend trying it out when you're craving something sweet. You can also custom order cookies/cakes as well. He does have savory pies but I haven't tried them.

A hidden gem! The owner is friendly and helpful. His desserts are the best I have ever tried. The perfect combination of light sweetness and presentation. Can’t wait to order my birthday cake!

I was traveling over hour just to get some pastry to my family. Myself worked in bakeries and I was amazed by the ethics of the owner, he never used margarine or any other hydrogenated fats, everything has be from scratch and never used any prepared ingredients like crèmes pâtissière and still keep fair price; he told me once “I prefer closing this business than cutting corners to impact my customers health” ...

The chicken and mushroom pie is delicious! The owner is great and helpful. I love the strawberry tart! Would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone.
