Nice place and staff. They have a wide variety of middle eastern sweets. I had Kunafa there. It is good but not perfect, it has the right texture but not the right taste.
So many comments stating that this is a Turkish Bakery, but it is NOT A TURKISH BAKERY. It is Lebanese. I did not find what I was looking for through no fault of their own. Good enough place for a cup of tea and some sweets. They could benefit from name and description cards on their pastry trays as they did not seem too happy to help.
Fantastic Bakery! First time trying most of the treats and dishes. Tried the Ground Beef Mana'eesh and Knafeh and some of the delicious treats! All Fantastic!!!
I discovered this place months ago when I was in search of a Lebanese bakery, and I was bummed when I saw where it was located because I'm on the opposite end of the city. But we were in the area yesterday and we paid a visit and I'm so glad we did! My husband and I love trying new foods, so this was a great add on to our date night. Staff was so friendly and helpful, they let us taste the stuff in the case before buying it so we knew we'd like it. Everything we tried was delicious so we left with more than we came for! If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely be coming back!!
Oh my! This place is a gem! Everything looks so darn delicious and I can't wait to try them all. The cookies are easily one of my favourites and the birds' nests, they are simply too beautiful to be eaten! I would highly recommend everyone to check it out. You'll walk out of the shop with a wide smile on your face!
The best place to get Arabian style baklava Very delicious and not so sweet Not the best place to sit and dine but good to get the sweets to go The price was reasonable and the staff were friendly Definitely will come back
I love this place! They make the best mediterannean/arabic culture type of deserts! My favourite is the cream roll and their manaeesh are fresh and yummy.
Amazingly delicious!... love this place, you should really try it to see what a real sweet afternoon with Turkish coffee is all about.
What a great little bakery, I was able to get quite a few lovely treats for a reasonable amount. The service was great and I ordered all the owners favorites which were indeed delicious!
I've been looking for a deserts bakery since I got to Calgary and this is the best I found...deserts wise only....I loved their deserts ....that gets 20/10 but unfortunately the service is horrible....they really need to work on service....this is my 2nd time coming in...we come in say hii to the hijabi girl that was working and she looked at us in a very unhappy face and didn't even respond to us....we asked her why was she upset and ignoring us....she lied and said that she did answer...when clearly there is 3 of us there and heard and saw what happened....but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since I had guests from out of town with me. I don't know if I would come back to a treatment like this.. even though their deserts were amazingly good.
