Definitely a grab and go place although a little hidden behind a few buildings. Plenty of flavors to choose from at the counter and since I couldn't decide, I got one of each kind they had. They also had a frozen section for take home. I popped these already baked ones in the oven at 300F for 10 minutes and they were flaky, warm, and delicious. For my taste, I love the spicy ones. The vegetarian one were also delicious as is. I highly recommend this place.

A bit of a hidden gem in Calgary.   Delicious desserts, empanadas and breads.  Just knocking down one star though as the young fella working there was a not too friendly and perhaps unintentionally, made a comment that made my Chilean wife feel a bit unwelcome.  That said, I would still recommend them for those hard to find Latin baked goods.

This Latin bake shop is the bomb, fresh baked, delicious, buns sour dough bread, leche waffle rolls, leche cookies, all different kinds of ground beef with different mixes in,I'll say turnover, but it's emplatas? You really need to stop by and check it out

The owner is so friendly and great. The empanadas are fantastic. I get three for lunch because I like the variety. Beef with raisin is great, chicken also. I have had the sweets and they are decent as well. Once you know where this place is, it’s an easy, yummy lunch!

Stopped in after stumbling upon this shop. My goodness, what a lucky day for me. Very friendly service, took six empanadas home for dinner. The spicy pollo, beef no raisin, and veggie with olives. Delicious and fairly priced. A new favourite for me. Go!

The empanadas are to die for! So delicious and perfectly seasoned. I got a few different flavors, beef, ham & cheese and chicken. I couldn't even decide which one I liked more! Only thing is, I wish it was in the oven for a few more seconds as it was still cold in the middle.

Sooo gooood.  Very flavourful, not dry, not greasy.  Highly recommend the spicy chorizo
