Sweet Cherubim Organic and Natural Food Store, Bakery, and Restaurant

I have been a big fan of this place for over 25 years. Although I haven't lived in the neighbourhood for over a decade I still drop by whenever I am in the area for a couple of their enormous samosas. There is a great casual vegetarian/vegan restaurant on one side and an organic market on the other. A great place for lunch for vegetarians.

Excellent vegan food, this is a very special place I recommend it to anyone! The grocery store has a wide range of vegan products that I am only able to find in Sweet Cherubim, albeit I can in the US at Whole Foods. Whole Foods in the US carries far more than what is sold in Cdn Whole Foods due to the much larger US market. Sweet Cherubim has a very peaceful, spiritual atmosphere, good for digestion and meditation. I recommend they keep the store and restaurant cleaner, as this will raise the vibration but other than that high quality place with amazing products and meals in the restaurant.

The food is amazing, they have lots of variety, the staff is always friendly. One of the best places to get vegetarian food. The food is a bit on the expensive side though.

Friendly service, cute location, overall good food and great price for the daily special ($11.95 pictured). Some items could use a touch more flavour - vegan spinach samosa was super bland/mushy, but everything else was lovely.

Their hours are listed as open til 10pm. I got there today just after 8pm to discover that only the restaurant side is open til 10, the store side that I needed closed at 8. Would be great if they updated their info to reflect the different hours of the two sections. Otherwise, great place!
