Original Thai food prepared fresh as you can get! Generous portions. Will adjust each dish regarding "hotness". Really enjoyed my visit there.

Always helpful. Orders taken quickly. Food arrived quickly for 8. On a Friday night! We made reservations. Hot, food presentation excellent. Credit machine brought to table. Thx.

This is the most authentic Thai food I have had in Canada since my return home from Thailand in 2000. I get excited when we pass through Minden now just for the opportunity to stop here. Any less than 5 star reviews must be from people who have only ever eaten Thai food in a westernized country...

Sat down at 5:30. By 6:45 our food had not come. Order rice dish for kids, Asked for it right away for children. It was the last dish to come out. I ordered noodle dish. NEVER even came. Our app dishes were left on table during dinner. Food had very little taste. Other guests were commenting on the fact we had not got food for children.

Suwan's is definitely quaint and the servers are friendly. It is a bit on the pricey side though. After waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes (no exaggeration) for my takeout order, I was hoping to be blown away with the food that's had very good reviews. However, my $17 vegan pad thai did not deliver. Not only was it 'thin' on flavour, it didn't contain the tofu that was promised. Perhaps the other items on the menu are better and will live up to the hype.
