yesterday was my husband's birthday and I decided to order him sushi for a celebratory dinner. I ordered 7 rolls for takeout, I was told to wait 20 minutes and everything was fine with the waiting time - my order was delivered on time, the service was polite. when we sat down to dinner, the first thing my husband tasted was a BC roll with smoked salmon skin and it was completely burnt, it tasted terrible..you can see it in the photo. I also ordered 2 Bagel rolls, with smoked salmon and the amount of salmon inside was minimal. the other sushi tasted good, but the price seems a bit high to me, I paid $61 for these two packs. I was also given very little soy sauce, almost to the bottom of 4 small boxes, not enough ginger and wasabi. unpleasant impressions and a bitter residue in the form of a burnt roll
Highly recommended. We love their sashimi and roll. But we keep coming back for their GamJa Tang! Perfect for the cold weather.Food: 5/5
Came here for my birthday because Tokyo Sushi wasn't open on Monday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the overall meal. The soup and salad were a nice thought but unnecessary and not great. Maybe I'm not a fan of lukewarm miso soup. We ordered some standard rolls approx. 9 including cali, philly etc.. Overall, they were pretty bland. Similar to ok homemade sushi. The veggie roll is a joke. They should call it "bagged coleslaw roll" . The rolls were small and overpriced. To top it off, the soy sauce was like water. Not sure why they have an average of 4.6 on google. Im not a foodie but I know when I've had a great sushi experience. Sorry, this wasn't it.
The service was fantastic! Very friendly and prompt. The food service was very fast and absolutely delicious. Very affordable pricing. We were surprised when the waitress brought out miso soup and house salad as an appetizer and a decoratively cut orange for us to share for dessert. That was on top of the meal we ordered! Again, very excellent service. Absolutely going to eat there again! Vegetarian options: Delicious vegan rolls Parking: Angled parking
The service was friendly and the food was fast, tasty and fairly priced. Sit down service was excellent and included free soup, salad and a little dessert. The restaurant is a little small and has aggressive lighting but has cute decor. Great place for a sushi date.Food: 5/5
Probably one of the best meals I have had in a while. This is a hidden Gem! Well worth the drive and then some. Had the YukGae Jang #206 the flavors of this dish were stupendous. Highly recommend!
In the vicinity of unicity. Located in a strip mall off of portage ave. Near the perimeter hwy. This pleasant restaurant is found. Small, yet bright and decorated well. Staff were very polite and brought excellent service. Food was delicious, it also came with a small individual salad and soup. And also an orange to finish off. Which was a pleasant surprise. Menu varied from different sushi to different types of Korean dishes. We went the sushi route this time around. But will definitely be back to try out the Korean dishes. Excellent place to try out if you are hungry and are in the area.
Outstanding Korean food and super friendly service. We were treated like honoured guests, and the Yukaejang that my Brother in Law recommended was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and utterly delicious. The bulgogi also looked yummy as well. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
This restaurant used to be a favourite of mine since my very favourite Momos closed or went to new owners. I’ve ordered from here three times before and was very satisfied on this past visit yesterday the spicy pork taste it off had no Korean hot sauce and looks like it was boiled we had no side dishes And I let the owner know when they offered me another dish of pork. Why would I want another dish of the same horrible thing I think they have changed cooks or something because this was very unacceptable for the money. I spent $83. Parking: Good. Food bad
Very polite staff. Excellent sushi and variety. Menu was quite extensive and had a hard time picking what to have but that just gives me more reasons to make repeat trips. All of my choices were flavourful and the presentation was some of the best I’ve ever seen. A bit expensive but worth it.
