We was looking for new Korean BBQ type place to attend. Good reviews nice photos so why not to try. The place looked ok. We made a reservation ahead so we didn’t need to wait to be seated. The menu is limited, only have a few options to choose. The meet was not marinated just pure meet some with black pepper. Some meet slices were frozen also quality of meet was below average. The service was also sub-par. Honestly would have been cheaper to buy the unseasoned meat and the Korean BBQ grill at the grocery store then do it at home.
Our first time here was for an impromptu date night, and we absolutely loved it! The staff are super helpful and kind, especially considering this was our first experience with Korean BBQ. And the food!!! OMG. So tasty. To top it all off, it was super affordable with bottomless refills for the all-you-can-eat option. Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation, as they are always super busy.
Overall experience was good. The server was pleasant, and she did a good job explaining how it works. The BBQ was fantastic! I wish they have more food selections for all you can eat menu. Everything tasted great! it's nice to have a second option at the end of the city. There's room for growth, and I think I'll be back soon. 1. Time: I see many reviews about being rushed out, but note that they've increased their allotted time from 90 minutes 1.5hrs to 120 minutes 2hrs. We still felt rushed even though that time includes all the waiting periods for your food, and you'll be charged extra if you don't finish it. 2. Price: it's $30 for dinner, all you can eat, compared to IGI, which is about $40 now. 3. Quality: it's good decent quality meats, vegetables, seafood, and sauces. 4. Variety & Quantity: This is where you'll notice why IGI cost more because you get a longer list of vegetable, ice cream, tempura, rice, and sushi. This place has a decent list, including beef - bulgogi, short ribs, beef, chicken, pork, mussels, scallops, and vegetable. They also have shrimp popcorn and deep-fried dumplings. 5. Space: it was clean, and since it's newly renovated no gross splashes on the wall. Also, there's enough space between seats that you won't hear your neighbor's convo.
It's personally my first KBBQ experience and I have to say, it was an okay experience! The serving sizes are small which is perfect for all you can eat which KBBQ normally is. The food was fine and they have a helpful chart to explain how long to cook each item. The dining area was alright, a bit unappealing in general with empty shelves and lots of unused space but overall it was adequate. Wouldn't settle on this restaurant for anything nore than a casual eat every now and then due to this. The patio needs to be maintained as it's seriously weathered which makes it look pretty tacky.
We couldn't wait to just start eating the first time we tried it. The pictures are from the second time we ordered. It was so good and we love takoyaki so this price was Amazing for so many. We ordered ahead and it was ready on time. And it tastes absolutely delicious, we loved the spicy one more because it had a bit more flavor but definitely recommend if you're in the area!
The food here was absolutely terrible. Went here for my parents birthday and tried the all you can eat menu and was absolutely horrible. They don't marinate there meats and tasted completely bland. "Seafood" items only consisted of shrimp and mussels were just seasoned with heavy salt and pepper. Menu variety to select from is extremely limited 2 to 3 items for either pork or beef. Not authentic at all. Pieces of beef that came out were embarrassingly small and sliced paper thin. Low budget quality food at such a high price. Will never try again! AVOID THIS PLACE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! TRUST ME!! Paid $150 for 4 people....I could have just gone to the Keg for steak and lobster. Also, all restaurant workers were east Indian, this should have been a red flag for the non authentic korean/Japanese food.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! Took my SISTER AND FRIENDS for All-you-can-eat KOREAN BBQ . I wasn't expecting the additional TAKOYAKI INCLUDED , but what an amazing addition! The BBQ added such a great communal activity! Great food. For the experience, the selection, and the amount of food, the price is very reasonable. I advise to eat slow, enjoy the experience, and don't get too full too fast! Absolutely loved it!! and also the server was quite friendly and assisted as fast . Service over all was great Parking: Parking was fun Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs so it was great
Ordered chicken karaage on October 17th, 2021 around 6PM just to find out that it's RAW and INEDIBLE. As seen on the pictures, the insides are still pink and the texture is of raw consistency. Even the skin of the chicken is not cooked, what more if it's the inside meat. I did not get to eat any of it in fear of contracting salmonella. I know their takoyaki is good but their chicken karaage needs a huge improvement. I'd rate this 0 out of 5 stars but unfortunately, I am forced to put at least 1 star to even post this review. Highly disappointed.
Was looking forward to trying this place out but sadly was disappointed. Not a big fan of the service method they have with the call button where the servers only appeared when the button was pressed. That just made the whole service a negative experience. Ambiance was also not there. Not sure if it’s all the black walls and no music but yeah. I’ve ordered takoyaki for takeout before and so we decided to have some with our AYCE but our order was burnt, basically dark brown/black and not soft at all on the outside but still had its softness on the inside. This was a surprise since all my past orders of takoyaki was amazing so I’ll call it an anomaly. AYCE menu was limited. Not a lot of meats you can choose from and seafood menu was barely seafood. Overall, experience was alright. Not sure if I would ever go here again for KBBQ for that price but for takoyaki for takeout, sure.
It is so so so good! It is fresh, tasty and full of flavor. The service is also very fast. I think I only waited less than 2 minutes to get my food ready. Awesome place!
