Sushi Kiku

*UPDATE - With the new management, Kiku goes from a 1 to a 4 star rating. Food is good, staff are way more friendly, have a great selection and now have added new desserts. Rude staff. Only thing good is the food. I feel bad for the chefs in the back who work so hard to have it delivered by servers who do not seem like the care at all about the restaurant. This place is going downhill and need to re-train. As a server, I was so appalled by them. A smile would not hurt anyone. Maybe that would help the business with customers and more money. So the person stating that he doesn't tip well and loves it, maybe you can attract people who don't mind tipping and would recommend to everyone to appreciates a good restaurant and treats the servers accordingly.

The service here is awesome! Efficient and well-organized, I gave one of them $5 extra to show my respect for her service. Beef short ribs is tasty. I heard from the manager that they used 50 different ingredients inside! This is my favourite place, I will come back for sure.

Lovely place with good servers. Recently, they have made some changes on their menu. We ordered their spicy vegetable/seafood roll set, it included miso soup & green salad. Size is pretty good with this low price. The only thing I dislike is their plate display...ginger is too watering

Their service is the best! We made a reservation for 14 people on Sunday. I talked to their manager at the very beginning that it's our boss's birthday party, and wondering if we could have something special. Since our boss is allergy to dairy, he cannot have any cheesecake/cakes. The manager gave us a sashimi boat for FREE! It was amazing! I would suggest to hold a party at Kiku, wonderful experience!

I went with my sister for her birthday and try to get the all you can eat lunch service. The waiter was rude and told us that we were 10min late and we had to have dinner. The website says it is 3:30pm and even though I entered the York Mills location, it directed me to the main website. I tried to talk to the manager but it was not help. In fact, the waiter was rude and talk down the manager before coming to us. They blamed the chef for not wanting to serve us. I definitely will avoid this location and rather go to Markham. Never had issues with Markham kiku and their service.
