Sushi Hil

Sushi is good, it's a new restaurant so there's always some kinks to work out. Server forgot the salad and negitoro roll but they brought it out eventually, No harm done and the chef made us Spicy Salmon Sashimi even though it's not on the menu We tried the: -Nigiri set -Nagasaki blue fin tasting set -Maki set -Spicy salmon sashimi Bang for buck it's not bad if you factor in the fact the nigiri set had 2 pieces of blue fin but overall it wouldn't be my first choice for dinner for the amount we spent 5 star because it's worth trying

I was visiting Vancouver and my friend recommended Sushi Hil! It wasn’t too difficult to book a table. We booked for 11:30am but when we were there, it filled up pretty quick! My family and I were all very impressed with the freshness of the fish. It was all sooo delicious! So fresh that my mom and I were brave enough to try their uni. We aren’t huge on uni but will only have it at promising restaurants. This meal was easily my favourite on my Vancouver trip. I will definitely come back if im in Vancouver again .

Had omakase at the bar which allowed us to have some really pleasant conversations with the sushi chef while getting more insight on our dishes! They don’t serve alcohol at the restaurant, but you can bring in your own. The selection of fish was super fresh and high quality, worth the price, and the staff was friendly and attentive! Would absolutely recommend.

This is exactly what Main street needed. Bright and inviting. Sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Try to reserve a spot at the sushi bar. The chef is very interactive and engaging.

Did the omakase and it was awesome. Great variety of dishes and everything was so fresh and delicious. Service was top notch and the staff was so friendly. Will come back again for sure. Highly recommended.

Easily one of the best sushi I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and the quality of the food is top notch. What really made it for me was how perfect their sushi rice was. Also loved every piece. I'm coming back for more.

Been waiting a long time to try Sushi Hil and it was worth the wait! 10/10 experience all around for the dishes, service, ambiance. The chef himself is kind and the fish they serve is as fresh as it gets. If you are looking for an intimate and high quality sushi experience, definitely check this spot out. Blue fin tasting set forgot to take a pic because I couldn't wait is a MUST!!!

A great sushi experience. This place has heart. Highlights were the oyster motoyaki which was rich in flavour, creamy, and delicious. The salmon skin on the King BC roll was unfortunately not crispy at all but everything else tasted quite excellent and the service was amazing which more than made up for it. The nigiri set was a great way to sample lots of flavours. Worth returning to dine again. Cozy, bright, happy ambiance.

Best sushi I have ever had, but I also have only had sushi in north america. I definitely will come again. Great service as well. Uni oyster shot was amazing, highly recommend!

Sushi Hil was a great surprise for us! This was our first time dining at the restaurant and we thought it was very good. The sushi is fresh and tasty and the presentation is top notch! The attention to detail put into each item was evident and made everything that much better. The foie gras nigiri was decadent and the bluefin tuna tasting set was amazing! Staff were attentive and came by often to check on us and refill our tea. Definitely will be coming back!
