Sushi Fang

Wait times for dine in a little longer, mostly due to large amounts of take out orders. Food was good though and everything was priced comparable to other sushi restaurants. Definitely recommend the crispy bagel roll!

Great place to eat in the valley. Super friendly staff. Tried the spicy salmon sushi, shrimp fried rice, bento box, and chicken curry vermicelli. These are all great choices. You won't be disappointed.

My review only got a 2 stars because the server did do a decent job. This doesn't even come close to ethnic food. My daughter ordered sushi, the rice was cold and she thought the soy sauce tasted funny, I tried it, it was off. I'm not sure what was different, maybe a different brand or watered down. In the pic I posted she ordered, avocado, avocado/cucumber and mango sushi. There were no descriptions on the menu to suggest it would be anything but what it said. The "mango" sushi was avocado, cream cheese and a sliver of mango... I also got pineapple taste. So the mango sushi was barely mango, and since there was no descriptions this wouldn't help someone with a dairy allergy. As for my meal, I ordered red curry. This was 100% not red curry, the taste was okay, but not red curry. It was yellow curry. Also, none of the standard veggies that are usually in red curry were present, no bamboo, basil or peppers. I did ask if thry got my order right and thry insisted it was red curry, I asked if they used red curry paste and they insisted that they did and they add "extra" ingredients to make it yellow . This was a super disappointing experience, we will not go back.

My partner has wanted to try Sushi Fang for a while. We are only in the area maybe once or twice a year. Today we finally were able to stop in. The lunch menu had some pretty good deals on Maki rolls and special rolls. We each ordered a few different things. Before today I wasn't aware bacon could go in sushi, but to my surprise it did. The spicy Salmon rolls were so good I could have just eaten those alone. The cheese wontons were intriguing and I was pleasantly surprised to see how delicious cheese and cherry sauce can be together. I had the tasty roll which I didn't realize was deep fried. I found it a bit rich when not sharing. However, really delicious when you other sushi to break up eating the same roll. Other standouts were the rainbow roll, and the green dragon. Overall we were happy and next time will probably order a bit less as it was quite filling. The staff were very pleasant and the only thing I'd want different would be the chop sticks. I found them a bit too long, and prefer the wood to plastic ones.

The portions are good for the money. And the spring rolls were good. But the stir fry egg noodles were greasy and the chicken was dry/dehydrated and looked more like leftover scraps of meant. The cashew chicken was incredibly bland. The sauce what little there was had a slight hint soya sauce and that was it. Perhaps their specialty is more sushi than Thai food. Edited to add that unlike most thai food, the leftovers were not good. I threw most of the food in the compost.

Food is okay, some rolls are fine. The seafood is certainly not fresh that’s for sure. The service is legitimately as bad as it can possibly be, a dead raccoon laying on the highway could put on a better display. When you get your cup of water at the start of the meal make sure to ration it out, nearly impossible to get more even if you ask. They basically drop off the food and hide, very strange. Not sure if they source their own water or what is going on.

Very good! Got king lobster roll, shrimp roll, and california roll. Was so good and more than we thought we would get. Good atmosphere and GREAT service very friendly staff. Will be going again soon!

Food was subpar but not impressed overall, ordered 5 rolls and a edamame. Orange pop and a Keith’s beer. Service was very mixed up. We didn’t know how to proceed to pay, didn’t know if we had to wait for a receipt or go to the counter.. When we went to the counter we were handed a bill of 80$!!!!! Holy hell. Never again. My jaw almost hit the floor I’d also like to mention that the service was terrible. We were not told where to sit, instead our server placed two menus down on a table and walked away while it was busy without even saying you can sit here assuming we knew to sit there without having to be told. We felt forgotten about multiple times while waiting for service, when the waiter came up to take our order we almost felt pressured to pick right then and there instead of having a couple more minutes. Overall I will not be back.

Service was slow getting to us, we were the only couple besides one other family there, by the time a server finally came over we ordered the food and drinks at the same time and they showed up about a minute apart which made me nervous at first but I found the food very flavourful and just the right amount of spice sadly we weren’t checked up on once even after being done for about 10 mins before finally calling someone over for the bill I’ll most likely be back to try out more of there sushi and other foods they offer but not on a day I feel rushed. Nothing stood out to me to make it feel special or an amazing place that’s why I’m only giving it 2 stars out of 5

The food was great and delivered quickly. Tried a few different items and all tasted good, and I don't usually like sushi. They also have a lot of non sushi items for people in your group that don't like sushi. Fair prices as well, as far as sushi goes.Food: 5/5
