Sima Sushi

Ordered takeout for the first time from here, and we all agreed the food was AMAZING! Definitely highly recommend the Dynamite dragon, and the double torched spicy roll was out for this World, the Yam tempura roll was excellent!

Sima can do no wrong. This has been our go-to sushi place since it opened, and while we have tried other Kingston sushi restaurants no other matches the freshness or the quality. Anytime there’s a special occasion or any occasion at all, Sima is our place to celebrate. I miss the nostalgia of eating in their small but cosy restaurant as dine in is still closed, but take out is just as high quality and delicious.

Sashimi here is always tasty and quality. Especially Salmon and Hotate. Their Sushi is always consistent. Professional and talented. Thank you!

Ordered takeout from them tonight. The sashimi and nigiri taste fresh. Ikura salmon roe is always my fav. Undoubtedly the best sushi house in Kingston.

Dear Sima Sushi, I just want to say how amazing your sushi is. Second to none. Tonight my husband and I ordered our love love salmon and other rolls, after a long week. We drove down and had to wait only a few extra mins, this was no big deal to us, but on top of our meal, the owner gave us free drinks and it was over the top in hospitality and kindness. Visited Kingston for the first time in nearly 10 years, and Sima Sushi was just as good as I remembered! They used to have a dine-in area but are only doing takeout and delivery now. We ordered the sushi dinner, yam tempura roll, white dragon roll, and gyoza and it was all absolutely delicious. The fish is fresh, rice is perfectly seasoned, and I love that they don't use too much rice in their rolls like many other places do. They presented it beautifully in the takeout bento boxes. It is always my #1 most recommended sushi place in the area to anyone who visits, and I'm so happy they are just as amazing as before!

The sushi sashimi did not taste fresh and the sushi was cut in thicker longer pieces than preferred. Didn’t make each bite delectable. Staff was polite however were busy and offered take out only. Felt rushed not welcomed.

Friendly staff, good service and nicely decorated. Salmon teriyaki very tasteful, salmon was juicy and very smooth. Delicious! Sake roll on the menu mentions only salmon, but it's actually prepared with cucumber+salmon. If you want the roll prepared only with salmon, double-check with the server before ordering it. Good place for sushi, sashimi, rolls and teriyaki. :

Visiting from the GTA, our first time enjoying Sima Sushi take out - exceptional! We ordered the 50 piece platter - high quality selection no skimping, mostly raw fish rolls and sashimi, our absolute favorites! We are DEFINITELY returning to Sima Sushi on our next visit to Kingston!

If you are looking for vegan sushi in Kingston, go here!! Their pink flower roll is my favourite, it is the most flavourful and delicious sushi I have ever tried. It is made with yam, beet, asparagus, avocado, and cucumber in pink rice paper! Definitely a highlight on the menu. Their avo-Q roll, shiitake mushroom roll, and miso soup are other favourites of mine. Also, the mugs they put green tea in are so adorable! Great place.
