Food was great met the owner at the front desk a lovely person. WiFi is available. Great choice on the menu. Our table had different food and probably the best choice looked like the duck. I had the ribs. For starters the crispy chicken wings were great. The only slight concern was the gentleman in the restroom having a shave and brushing his teeth. He was pleasent enough. Vegetarian options: Many vegi options Kid-friendliness: Ok to take kids Parking: Next door to the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: All on ground floor Dietary restrictions: Waitress asked for allergies they can accommodate
I met a friend for supper before going to a musical event. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious and plated beautifully. The wine selection was excellent and very well priced! We shared a cheesecake or dessert. It was a little small but tasted delicious and the fresh berries were a nice addition. Other tables of guests were full of laughter and as I watched the food roll out I look forward to returning for another plate. Salmon - excellent - cesaer salad starter - homemade bits, dressing shaved parm.
My husband and I grabbed takeout for the first time here after hearing from our colleagues about the food quality and atmosphere. We ordered the crispy glazed wings, east meets south burger with sweet potato fries, and the chocolate cheesecake. A little disappointed cause the wings were dry and the burger was mediocre. Cheesecake was pretty good and smooth, so we might come back again.
Staff is always nice and friendly but the food is very hit and miss for the price. Ordered two sandwiches, the wild turkey and the East meets South. The chicken was as thin as deep fried deli meat and the turkey sandwich was dry and bland. The ceaser salad and chips were tasty.
This place is top notch, best food in town, they marinade there wings it’s only place in town that does that and there the best. The steak was phenomenal and the chefs are amazing and accommodating, they catered to lactose intolerant girlfriend without hesitation, Kendra was our waitress and super friendly and nice explained the whole menu to us. Wine selection is good, coffee is amazing. Table 1 is best seat and best views, in front of fire place. Everything is home made, sauces and dressings and all... can’t beat that. Be there or be square
I've recently moved to Fort Mac and being a bit of a foodie have went to a number of restaurants here. This is a jewel! I have gone a few times now, have had the Lamb X2 incredible! and the steak fantastic!. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. I'd recommend it to everyone! Prices are what one would expect for a really good time out. My friend enjoyed herself as well! Had the Blackout tote for dessert and OMG!, what a marvel! A place to go to, again!
Went there for lunch and tried few things. Loved their chilli chicken, Tomato- Basil soup with garlic bread. The salmon was ok. The place itself is very well decorated and of course the view is great. Loved the atmosphere and would love to try some more things there.
Such a wonderful place also amazing food. Location is beautiful. Parking: Lots of spots. No problem for parking.
Best date night in fort mcmurray! Loved every bite of each course. The mushroom ravioli with pancetta is insanely delicious. The service and atmosphere is amazing! We had Kendra serve us and she made the experience even better! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. 10/10 will be back
Great place for a fancy dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, and inviting. The wait staff is friendly and welcoming. And the food is excellent easily the best steak I've had in Fort McMurray. We went for my friend's birthday. I had the scallops, steak and the caramel cheesecake. The scallops were delicious, they arent large but they come with delightful sauces and a bacon jam that perfectly compliments them. Be warned, the steak is huge and I left very full even with a large appetite. It was a perfectly cooked rib eye with a mushroom wine sauce that was excellent but the potatoes steal the show and I wish they had just a window out back that you could buy just the potatoes, fast food style. They come in a creamy sauce that elevates them to brilliance. The Cheesecake was lighter and fluffier than I expected which was a pleasant counterpoint to the heavier meal and the caramel one comes with little balls of carrot cake in it the combination is wonderful and I would highly reccomend it. The price point is on the upper end with my meal, plus 2 mocktails running me in the $120 range, but well worth it as a treat.
