Haven’t even stayed here yet but after the customer service I had from the manager I would never even try to book again. Very rude over the phone and unwilling to help at all. I booked a room through my Wyndham points and canceled just within the time to do so. He told me that night rudely on the phone there was nothing he could do to reimburse me of my points it was a Wyndham issue. After speaking to Wyndham they are telling me I need him to say ok to release my points back to me. He won’t even answer the phone to talk to the Wyndham agent to sort it out. Super ignorant and not very understanding or patient. Must be hard up for help in Valemount if these are the type of people in managing positions. Thanks for your help Super 8! 🙄🤬

Best Super 8 I've ever been to ... and for what it's worth that's a lot (and other common roadside motel/hotel chains). Room and lobby felt like a level above what you'd expect including comfy king size bed and big TV. Breakfast was great for Super 8 with some good protein options though my wife says they ran out of some things later in the morning. Other imperfections would be slowish internet in this town, and the power in town was out when we first got there ... but staff were very helpful and friendly during the power issue. Anyway if it seems odd to give five stars for an imperfect stay, my assumption is you know what a typical Super 8 is and this was exceptional and left me happy... so five star in its class.

Overall the place was good. The staff was really friendly and the room clean. I love that they have a wii in the front common area for people to play. The WiFi was atrocious though, as in virtually nonexistent and the water pipes are noisy which woke us up several times in the night with their tapping ( very disappointing considering the bed was awesomely comfortable). We were on the first floor so maybe it's quieter on the upper levels.

Very interesting layout though it has been recently renovated. Just be prepared for the buses of Chinese tourists in the summer. Their loft rooms are nice but they also have a 3 bedroom apartment tucked into the far corner for marginally more than regular rooms. Comes with a kitchen and full fridge freezer combo. Would highly recommend.
