Chalet Continental Motel

Nice and quiet. All the nececisitied like a comfortable bed and hot shower. Rooms and lobby are a little 1992 but very kind staff and nice little breakfast. Price was *extremely* competitive. Beautiful view in the morning. Will stay here again in the future.

Have been staying at the chalet continental for more years then I can remember. The hotel is always clean, staff are friendly and the price is good. Not to mention they have some if the comfiest beds I've ever slept it

The Chalet was nice, clean and all for a good price. Staff was pleasant to deal with. The rooms are big. Only lost one star for not having PAY PER VIEW. Not that I was able to stay up to watch a movie but new releases are always good to keep up on.

This hotel is everything you would expect from a good budget hotel. The building is older and there are scuffs on the baseboards in the hallways, but the rooms are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean. The beds are firm and each come with four fluffy pillows. The breakfast area accommodates up to about 10 people at a time. The breakfast itself consists of cereals, toast, waffles, fruit, several pastries, yogurt, apple juice, orange juice, coffee and hot water to make tea. Not super fancy, but everything you need to get your day started. If you are staying during the winter, bear in mind that the hotel is frequented by people who snowmobile in the area. They typically leave early in the morning and start up their diesel trucks to warm them up, which causes a lot of noise. You can request a room towards the rear of the building to avoid the noise if you wish to sleep later. I travel with a laptop that streams Plex from my home server and the wifi was solid enough throughout my stay to consistently stream movies with no issues.

The staff is super nice. The beds are comfy. The building itself isn't very nice. The walls are like paper, you can hear the people above you and beside you. Bathrooms are dated bad and falling apart.. If expectations are low it's ok to stay.
