Valemount Hotel

It's really nice place to stay for cheap price. We spent 3 nights with two kids and everything was fine. First it was a budget trip so we tried to spend less. Rooms were very clean everything was pretty standard but for this price you couldn't expect something more. We didn't try food over there so I cannot say anything about food in this Hotel

If I had access to a time machine, I would first kill Hitler. Then I would tell my past self not to stay at the Valemount Hotel. A lot of reviews here complain about the noise of passing trains. But I found the trains helpful in drowning out the far more worrying noise of the karaoke night just a few feet below my room. The only soundproofing in this place appears to be some desiccated cats who got stuck between floors and died there. God bless those cats; they helped dampen the shriller renditions of Radar Love. This is not to disparage the historical character of the Valemount Hotel, of course (hence the two stars). You will have ample time to appreciate this ambience as you spend hours basting in neverending classic rock, praying for death. This also seems like a good time to mention that the Valemount Hotel will only save you $27 off a train-free, karaoke-free Valemount accommodation option.

Hotel is ok. Quite a small room but who needs a big room to sleep in. Looked clean and looked after. Train shook the bed at night though

Good food, excellent service. Haven't stayed in the rooms but I hear they clean and comfortable

Clean, big rooms. Decor is older and carpets run down, but a decent place to spend the night. Good shower!
