Super 8 Saskatoon Near Downtown

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!nnInstantly we noticed the sheets where super wrinkly and stained. The more we looked the worse it got. Blood stains on curtains. Greese on head board. They offered a refund but still charged me. The bed sheet stains didn't show up on picture well but you can see the pillow stain.nnFront desk said there was no more cleaning staff to provide new sheets. Offered a full refund. They still charged me. $20 more and got a very nice hotel 10 minutes away.

Absolutely disgusting. Walls haven’t been cleaned in a while. No face cloths in the washroom and the shower stall looks like it hasn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. The bedding looks like nothing in the ‘staged’ photos. No coat hangers to hang a coat. Not that we had any. NOT very friendly for people with mobility issues. The front end staff member didn’t look very professional wearing street clothing. And kept asking if we understood him. Which we really didn’t understand his English. Staff just seem not to care.nnThe only reason why we booked a hotel in Saskatoon on our way back home from Winnipeg was because we had to break up the drive due to a medical reasons. If it wasn’t for that we would have pushed the last 6ish hours or so back home.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this hotel and would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere—especially if you have children.nOur first room was unsafe from the start, as the door did not lock properly. We were moved to a different room, which initially appeared cleaner, but that quickly changed once I took a closer look.nThe room was disgusting. The bed had visible stains, the towels were also stained, there was dust built up on the AC unit, and the walls and floors were dirty. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned.nWhat made this experience truly unacceptable was discovering a used needle in the room during a more thorough check. I was traveling with my two young children, and this could have ended very badly. That level of negligence is beyond concerning—it’s dangerous.nTo make matters worse, the staff showed little to no concern when this was brought to their attention. There was no accountability, no urgency, and they refused to offer any kind of refund or discount.nThis was not just an unpleasant stay—it felt unsafe and completely disregarded basic cleanliness and guest wellbeing. I would never stay here again.

I spent over 50 nights in hotels per year but this would be the worst experience of staying in a hotel in my life. The receptionist picked up a phone call about hotel cancellation during my check-in. He talked for 5 min but could have put the call on hold until I checked in first. The room was dirty and all table surfaces were covered with dust except in the bathroom. The shower did not work with handle free playing and no water coming out. I did not take a shower in the morning and just left the hotel. The toilet was not stable when sitting on it and it could move from left to right a few inches. There was no coat hanger in the closet. The drawer handle of the night stand was hanging there, and the drawer was dirty. The security chain of the front door was missing, and the door handle to bathroom was loosely attached. The GIF power outlet cover plate was not in place with missing screws. There were holes on the wall due to the damage from the door handle, and other old patches on the wall. The lamp cover was damaged. I texted back after I received the welcome message from the hotel, but nobody offered to give me a different and better room. I will never come back to this hotel, and would have ranked it less than 0 if there were such a choice.

I would probably rate a no star at all. This was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We spoke to the front desk and asked to transfer rooms, but he claimed they were fully booked. Even though there were only two cars parked outside.nnMy husband and I ended up trying to clean the toilet ourselves because it had visible urine and feces stains . When I checked the bed sheets, there were fresh-looking blood stains that clearly hadn’t been washed.nnAt that point, we decided to book another hotel and leave. This was absolutely unacceptable. I will never book this hotel again. Worst experience of my life.
