My wife and 2 kids stayed for the weekend for a volleyball tournament. The Sheraton is always nice accommodations and amenities. However there was a group next to them for the first night that was having a good time which happens. After asking them to keep it down they turned up the noise so my wife called front desk and it got a bit quieter but the knocking on the door and noise continued in the hall. A complete zoo. It was expressed the next morning that not much had changed and there was a very unsafe vibe from the Crew next door. Absolutely zero recognition or solution seeking to make the stay better. Night 2. Fire alarm goes off. Front desk knew nothing. Bad luck happens but the lack of customer service leaves a bad taste. High priced complacency is what we got.
Do not book with Sheraton Hotel Saskatoon for your special event! I would give 0 star if I could. We booked the Regal Manor suite months in advance for my intimate bridal shower with my bridesmaids. On the day of the booking, we were told that the check-in time was 4pm even though it clearly said on the website that check-in is at 3pm. When we arrived at the hotel to check-in, they told us the room wasn't ready yet. They kept pushing back the check-in time until couple of hours later, they told us that someone is already staying at the Regal Manor someone who extended their stay and we go bumped even though we booked the room months in advance! The room they offered us as an alternative was no way close to what we booked. They didn't even offer to book us rooms with their sister company. We ended up booking a different room at a different hotel but our plans and timeline got way behind because they keep holding us and telling us the room will be ready even though they already know someone' staying there for the same night already. We had to find a plan B with very little to no time left on the day of the event. Never book your stay there again!
I always enjoy my stay. Parking gets really full... So secure your spot. Otherwise, the hotel is within walking distance to the Mall and the river. Great location.
A hotel that has tastefully furnished rooms, friendly staff, effective cleaning crew, banquet service... I stayed in the West Wing which only has one elevator and can sometimes take a long time to arrive. Later I learned I can go through a small narrow hallway with two doors that leads to two other elevators. When I opened my curtains I just starred at a brick wall 5 meters away.
We were unable to book online. We called the hotel. They refused to honour the government rate listed. They refused to even give us the price listed on their sight. They then hung up.
