Northgate Motor Inn - Mr. Rizo's

Customer service was friendly. Room was big, heater/aircon and TV all working and in good condition. Loved having a fridge. Although there was a hole in the bathroom door. Good shower. For a motel, this exceeded our expectations.

The only Motel I could find that you did not need a credit card. My boyfriend and I almost had to sleep in our car and then this place kind of fell on our lap. It could use some improvements but, for the price I dont complain. It's clean, has a TV and a shower and nice bed. I would stay here again.

Price wise you cannot complain. Especially if it is the only place in town that does not require credit card. Regardless of price, it should have been cleaned thoroughly. There was blood spatter on the head broard and side of dresser.Rooms: 1/5

I thought the room was decent for the price. However, the bed/sheets were stained and gross. The worst part is I woke up with bed bug bites all over my left side and foot.

Most disgusting and vile room I have ever been in. Huge stains on the floors and chairs, old off white towels and sheets littered with stains and marks. There was a big stain on the side of one of the box springs which look like either diarrhea or blood. Will never under any circumstance return and encourage those who read this to pass on this place even if it's the last room in the whole city. Sadly Google forces me to give this place a 1 star rating to leave a review.

Given the cheap prices I wouldn't hold such expectations. Although the atmosphere and staff surpass my expectations. The rooms are spacious, tidy and practical. All basic necessities are available.

Totally grossed out!! This is my second time staying here and it's disappointed both times!! Unfinished electrical fixtures, disgusting heat/air units, cable sucks even basic, local channels like City and CBC don't come in, grafitti on pop machines, dirty overall, stairwells look like they haven't been vacuumed in 3 years, no lamp in the room, no additional services, front door is locked in the evening so you have walk to sketchy door at back if you don't have an access room, halls smell like pot - even found panties in the hallway! Brutal!! On the other hand, Mr. Rizo's small, fine restaurant in lobby is a Saskatoon treasure!

It's the poster boy for what a motel is suppose to be. All in all the best and cheapest motel you can rent in Saskatoon. If you're not much for 5 star pay per day rooms for rent in Saskatoon, or simply limited in your available finances...then this is where you should go. Not bad at all.

Rates were pretty good but the room smelled funny almost moldy. Area wasn't bad but for $20 more you can have a much better room and hotel 3 minutes down the road

Poor service, misleading advertisements. Wifi doesn't work except in lobby. Suites are barely acceptable, dirty stained carpet and everything is run down. Just a bad experience all around.
