Really enjoyed my round of golf last week. All staff followed COVID19 precautions which was great to see. Clean carts and fast check in process. Course was in fantastic shape and very challenging! Loved the views of the mountains and the tree lined fairways were beautiful. Will definitely play here again on my next trip to Kelowna.
Beautiful place, wonderful views and our server Josh was amazing - he took great care of us. Also the breakfast we had was very good.
This dinner was a very unfortunate experience for us. We came from Vancouver for a lovely vacation and booked a table for a family dinner. Not only the waiting time was far and beyond acceptable despite the restaurant being 1/2 full when we arrived but the meal of the second adult in our family arrived at 8.00 pm which was an hour!!! later than all other meals for our table our order went out at 6.30 pm. That's being said, the whole family had finished their meals by that time and the kids got bored and cranky while the other adult never got to actually eat their meal as we had to leave! With the great reviews in mind and above average pricing we left ~200$ for our dinner we were expecting our experience to be much better than it actually happened to be. Would not recommend to any of our friends visiting Kelowna!
We used Sunset Ranch as our wedding venue. Ashlea who works there helped me plan the whole thing. She was always glad to answer any of the questions I had. She kept in touch to explain the process and what to expect throughout the whole planning period. The venue itself is beautiful. The outdoor ceremony area was perfectly landscaped. They built a new arch this year which was beautiful. They provided us with golf carts to be able to drive around the grounds to take our photos. Inside we used the upstairs room with its own bar. The staff were super helpful and set all the tables, linen and chairs up. They moved wine barrels around, lit candles, anything we needed. All that was left for us was setting up décor. At the end of the night they collected all my decorations and set them aside for me to collect the next day. We did a Buffett dinner. The food was absolutely delicious! All of my guest raved about the food, some saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had. All around, a wonderful venue and would highly recommend.
My niece recently had her wedding for 100 guests at Sunset. I cannot rave enough about the venue, staff, service and food. They made this special day perfect. Beautiful outdoor space for the ceremony too. And very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
The hillside location of the course with views of kelowna were great. The course layout was fun and challenging. The condition was very firm and a little scorched. However you pay a bit of a premium over other courses in the area, and they stack groups 8 minutes apart like a value course. The pace of play was terrible and at no fault of the golfers. Often three groups stacked up on the same hole. We spent most of the time in the cart waiting with other groups. Ended up giving up after 9 when the group ahead of us was still waiting to tee off on 10. Won’t go back
8/16/22 had another lovely lunch at Sunset, food is so good! Had a lovely lunch today, our lunches were delicious. Great service and lovely view.
Beautiful, challenging course. 9th hole needs fixing as every great drive just slopes down towards the bottom but a great overall course.
Great course with lots of shade, in great condition as well. We had our tournament there this year and the whole thing was awesome! Mike the tournament director makes things easy.
It’s the staff!! We did a wedding and reception here and I am over the top recommending this crew to be the ones to take care of you!!
